Extremely overpriced

This is a great idea and works well in most cases. What I don't understand is why a piece of rubber band with two plastic hooks can cost $37! (With taxes). To be honest, I was hoping for a lot more. It would be nice if the item was sold to the community at a fair price. Also, it's not made in the USA. Made in China.

The old version was better

I had the old version of this product and it was perfect. Unfortunately I lost it and ordered the current version as a replacement. The new one has HUGE clips holding the tablet. For me, they pinch the screen and make it difficult to use the sides of the display, sometimes blocking important information. The old ones were perfect, these not so much.

This is an amazing thing!

I bought my first iPad in 2011 to use the Foreflight Aviation app. Shortly thereafter I found and bought MyClip. Now, a few years later, this is still one of my best purchases. I still use my original MyClip and now we all use it at work (I'm a medical helicopter pilot). It has been improved from my first with changes to the velcro and jaws - gosh the first one was great. , now even better!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Clamps too big: computers and accessories

I will quote KN who tested this product last July because I also bought it to replace my old one which was lost. I agree 100% with her assessment: "I had an old version of this product and it was perfect. Unfortunately I lost it and ordered the current version as a replacement. The new one has HUGE clips holding the tablet. Squeeze the screen and make the sides of the display difficult to use, sometimes blocking important information. The old ones were perfect, these not so much.”

Works well but needs a few tweaks

UPDATE: So I bought the AppStrap pads separately which come with a strip of fluffy tape to stick them on. I have a Smart Keyboard Folio on my iPad Pro, so I just use this kneepad clip on my keyboard and snap the AppStrap pads between the keyboard/folio face and the iPad. Works great! I avoided knee pads because I didn't see a reason to until a landing hour with my iPad trying to hit the ground. I grabbed one of these and it helped a lot as I wasn't trying to balance the iPad on my foot while…

Should have started here.

I've probably looked through every other iPad suction cup and knee mount solution to find NOTHING that would fit my Tecnam Echo (Light Sport). Cabin space doesn't get much smaller than in this roomy LSA, so I needed something to use my full-size 9.8-inch iPad in the cabin. I know the 9.8 inch iPad was a bad idea for the LSA, but here we are. I tried all options to avoid this clip because I didn't expect it to be useful. I thought it was an expensive cheap clip that would barely hold my tablet…

Pros
  • Tablet Accessory
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

The best knee brace I've ever used!

later As a flight instructor I always carry my iPad with me and have to hop on many planes so it's handy to have knee pads, but most of them are bulky. Additionally, placing an iPad on an airplane's controls is time-consuming and can pose a safety hazard if done too hastily, as the iPad can disrupt flight operations. I can stow the Myclip ulti in my very small flight bag and take it out at any time. The iPad sits very securely on my leg and in my new Cirrus the position is perfect. For many…
