They don't work. You have to knock a little to get them back. You have to constantly check them, otherwise they will get stuck and the water will cool down.

Mine works fine. It keeps a constant temperature. When I regulate the temperature I usually wait until the next morning to check the setting, once the heater is installed it works consistently and reliably.

Good luck to me. I check if they are broken before I put them in the water with the fish. There was a broken hair in one of the glass heaters. The one that wasn't broken is still working two months later and is at the right temperature.

I have ordered two of these heaters for our 10 gallon grow tanks. They work great and seem pretty accurate so far. From time to time I checked the temperature with a second thermometer since I put it in the tanks and it matched the temperature of the heaters.

First day with this item and I'm sold. Temperature control is accurate, tested with a floating marina thermometer. If nothing happens I will leave this review unchanged. This thing works great and I will definitely be getting 300 watts for my 55 and 75 gallon tanks once I set them up.

Don't believe the ads! The 100 watts were advertised for 45-75 gallons. I bought two to have a backup for my 29 gallon and I got lucky. After trying just one at 80 degrees for several days, I realized this wasn't going to work. If you raise it to 90 it will be 80 but it won't stay. At times it dropped to 78 and there were cold spots in the tank. Adding a second heater worked: 80 was 80 at a constant temperature. I wish I had bought 200 watts for my 29 gallons.
