It worked very well for the first few months. But there's no need to worry, it's easy to replace. BUT when I plugged it back in there wasn't enough power to force air through the new air stone, even without it, just a regular air hose. That's very disappointing.

This pump is very quiet. Sometimes you realize that our air conditioner is more than a pump. I paired it with an angled sponge filter and a small regular aerosol stone (not the big round one that came with the pump) and installed it in a 5 gallon tank. Update 10/28/2020 The pump worked great for 2 1/2 months and then just stopped working. I have sent an email to Mylivell customer service. They responded almost immediately and agreed to send me a replacement pump. Update: 10/27/2020 I bought it on August 6, 2020. Plugged in on arrival and placed in a sponge filter. Today it stopped working. This went on for about 2-1/2 months. Old Review: This pump is just right for a large sponge filter - not too powerful and not too weak in flow. Very quiet.
