Gel polish remover

First of all, I don't like gel polish! Of course it's not your fault. I would never buy nail polish if I knew it was gel. It didn't say anything to suggest it. This remover sounded better than others I've researched so I can't compare, but for an older woman it was a problem. Luckily he removed the polish which I don't want to use again. Anyone need 6 bottles of gel polish? For sale, CHEAP!

it didn't work in Nail Art & Polish

People who said it works wonders must not have gotten the same as me. I follow the directions, first sanding down the protected top coat, applying the product and waiting 6 minutes, then attempting to remove the gel polish with a paper towel as suggested. A small amount of gel was removed but most of it stayed on the nail. I had to apply another layer, wait another 6-7 minutes and scrape it off with a scraper. Worst product ever!

Fast, easy and efficient!

That's why I prefer the poly gel manicure because it's the only product that lasts more than a day. Unfortunately, once THIS ONE NAIL comes loose, I have to take them all off. This usually happens at night, so I don't have time to do a full and proper uninstall. I TAKE THEM OFF and it absolutely DESTROYS my nails. I took the thing out of curiosity. I didn't have poly gel so I used a nail sticker and two treatments and ten minutes later that nail was GONE along with the glue. I put some glue on…

Don't think... BUY IT!

I received this product today and decided to get started right away. I LOVE getting my nails done; However, I decided to spend less and do more manicures at home. I had trouble removing some polishes with the tinfoil/acetone method (which also made my nails a bit brittle). With this remover I was able to remove 70% of the nail polish in 6 minutes and rest after the second round. I think I had to do it twice as the gel polish was too shiny. IT WAS SO EASY! I will NEVER remove nail polish any…

It works! Nail Polish Remover

I used this to remove gel nails after 2.5 weeks when they started to chip badly. I wasn't sure if this would work based on the reviews. Totally does! The directions say first file, I don't have it. I recommend you do this as it will speed up the process. The paint was swollen and I simply erased it. It took about 30 minutes to wipe off/reapply but my nails are now intact and clean!

Pros
  • Brilliantly Done
Cons
  • Minor problems

Not sure if it's better than soaking...

It worked...ok. Lots of scratching, about 4 cycles of use and scratching per nail. The scraping was possibly more damaging to my natural nail than the alternatives and there is still residue on the nail. It removes the gel, but I'm not sure if it's any less painful than soaking.

It took several coats to work

The gel manicure took 4 thick coats and the rest was removed with a nail file. Not a perfect result as others have pointed out. The gel nails were only done 2 weeks ago and had normal coverage, not excessive so I don't know why it took multiple coats of this cleansing gel to get it working. However, it is convenient for home use and will be reused even when multiple layers are required. This is better than using pure acetone for cotton and foil for ea. Fingers and not being paralyzed at 10m…
