Highlights, that's cool. Separate buttons for each individual function are fine, although I feel like I'm preparing a plane for takeoff. The crucial point is the IR angle. While this is an upgrade from the factory remote, it's not a very good one. Doesn't work for me.

If you have a Nakamichi Shockwafe sound system, this remote control is a must! It will eliminate most (if not all) of your frustrations with the original poor quality remote that came with an excellent sound system. Better feel, no need to point at a shaky angle, the buttons just work. I'm glad I invested $30!

I've been using this SSE remote for a few weeks now with my 2018 7.1 DTS:X and 9.2 DTS:X Shockwafe. I can say that while it looks pretty much the same as the 2018 remote, from a functional point of view it's a huge improvement. plus the fact (I'm a bit picky) that this SSE console puts me on par with the newer 2019 SSE Shockwafe Soundbar. The only difference is in the remote control.

Fixed: I couldn't get Dolby Atmos to work with my original remote. It wasn't until my son physically broke the device that replacing it fixed the problem. Wow what a difference in sound I can feel, plus the soundbar menu allows me to customize it (which the previous remote didn't). I highly recommend this product.

I have just received my new remote with the SSE logo from Revain. The new remote control is 100% better than the original remote control that came with the product! The range is excellent and I no longer have to do stunt tricks to get the soundbar to respond to button presses. Fonts on the remote are larger and easier to read, and the backlight lasts longer. Thank you to the Nak team for listening to us and improving this part of the product.
