24 perfect installs

Well I ended up installing 24 of these sliding bolts on the solarium's removable windows. I agree with the other reviewer, the screws are well made and look very nice. 24 bolts and no problem with a single hitch or bolt. I can't say that about the installer. My conservatory looks professional ONLY because of the beautiful simplicity of the brass studs.

Mixed Rating Latches and Bolts

I used them on my boat. The locks are made of high quality material and look great. The problem is that they don't stay locked. You may feel a slight click as they engage, but they return to the unlocked position with the slightest push. I installed the first two horizontally (perfectly level), installed the next two vertically to solve the problem. Just note that they work in the unlocked position when mounted horizontally.

Great Latch Solid Brass Color

Great Latch. It's sort of "solid copper" in color and weight. Here is a helpful tip for frameless installation. This means that when you remove them you have to fill 4 small screw holes. I installed this in my bedrooms where the doors in room 1 swing open. Fix the slider to the door about 1.50 m above the ground with the 2 screws provided.2.
