Exactly what I was looking for

We moved into a house that had the previous owner's name on the knocker. So we had to remove it. We didn't want to make new holes in the door so we had to find the exact same hammer. Good thing Amazon exists! Easy to install and exactly the same size as the old one.

Pros
  • Gives a decorative look to doors up to 1-3/4" thick
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Very, very nice: hammers

Good product. I was able to write the apartment number on part of the apartment. The perfect black accent paired with a smart lock (Yale). It's not a weak hammer, it has presence. Exactly what I needed. The only issue I had was that the supplied screws weren't long enough for a much thicker 1950's door, so I had to get longer ones. I would post a photo, but with the new updates, Revane wants access to your photos, which is NOT the case.

Pros
  • Solid brass for maximum corrosion resistance
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

You have to screw it to the inside of the door!

You must screw this door knocker to the inside of the door. This way the screws will go from the inside of the door through your door to the outside where they attach to the knocker. Why would anyone want to see two screws on the inside of a door! I am returning it for this reason. Didn't even take it out of the packaging. Otherwise it looks very nice and solid, but who wants to see black screws in their white door?

Pros
  • This door knocker is 7 inches high
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
