Natures Hangout Weatherproof Feeders Watching Review

It's been a few weeks, but the cardinals have been visiting the feeder regularly. Today we have an unexpected guest. I'm still trying to figure out how he got there. (See photo) I will order more.

I've had the feeder for a few weeks now and I have a cardinal who loves it! Thanks to the location, there is no bad weather or wind here. This cardinal sat at the feeder for hours today - didn't even eat! just hang out with me I love this feeder!

Squirrels got over it quickly no matter what I did. They shot off parts that fell on the deck and shattered. Some of the beasts were heavy enough to jump on him with enough force to knock him off the window. I have a lot of oak and pine trees so they had plenty of food everywhere, but squirrels love birdseed too. I was hoping this feeder would be the solution. But unfortunately that is not the case.

I bought 3 of these and had the same problem with all of them. They work great initially and all the suction cups stick to the window well with no problems, but after about a month they start to lose the suction cup making this product unusable. I had to keep putting the feeder down because it kept falling off until I gave up. One of them even broke in the fall. I tried to contact the company through their website but they never replied to me after several attempts. Wouldn't recommend it.

Good bird feeder. It took the birds about a week to find it. They loved it when they finally did. The suction cups are very strong. This thing will NOT fall out of your window. A few tips: I would put it on a window that has grass/mulch underneath. First I put it on the window above our deck, and the deck was covered in sunflower husks and bird droppings. i used to have a window feeder with a one way mirror so the birds wouldn't be scared. There were a lot of cars, but the birds were hard to see through the tinted back of the mirror. This mirror broke and I decided to give it a try. It receives the same amount of traffic and maybe more than mirroring. As long as the people in the room are silent and the lights are off, the birds are not afraid and it is MUCH easier to see them in detail through the clear plastic. seems to like the black rubber…

This is the perfect window bird feeder. Birds LOVE it. Currently there are cardinals, tits and purple finches. Small tits are so cute. You use the side feeder to crack the seeds. Sometimes they sit on a comfortable side. Sometimes they just hop around with the seeds. Installation was easy and the suction cups are great. This feeder is amazing. The suction cups are very strong and won't detach from the window unless you want to on purpose, which is still not easy. The plastic seems to stay light and clear for the most part, with the exception of the top, which needs cleaning from time to time. The tray is removed from the feeder and has holes for water drainage. The tray also has a divider for two different types of bird seed, but I put the same seed inside. First of all I would like to dispel the myth that window liners are dangerous for birds. Birds run into windows for two reasons: either they're trying to escape predators, or they're unfamiliar with the area. Placing a feeding station in the middle of your window will ruin the reflection of your garden that the birds see and they will be less likely to try to "escape through your window".
