Nature's Instincts 🐦 Birdie Basketball Interactive Pet Toy Review

It's thin and feels unstable even with my tiny parrot on it. It's sleek, thin plastic and unless even the Parrotlet can sit comfortably on it, I definitely wouldn't recommend it for more than one budgie. He's on top of her cage right now, gathering dust.

My parrot LOVES this item. He literally tried to get hold of it while I was putting it together. He hasn't managed to get the ball in the ring yet, but he's done it several times. likes to climb red rings, swings. He's not that keen on the barbell yet. but I was pleasantly surprised by his love of it.

Installation was very easy but not very reliable. I have 2 parrots and they usually love any toys/play areas I give them but they were DEAD on this one. I tried to put them on a pole, they flew away. I tried to show them how to play with him, they flew away. I tried tearing off some pieces to not look intimidating, they flew away. They just HATE it. After going through 2 JW gyms because the clamps, pins and posts break too easily I was thrilled when I assembled the Caitec gym because the clamps are strong and snap securely into place. They were so tight I used a small screwdriver to press the clips into their slots. I love the variety of colors and details in this gym and am amazed at how big it is.
