Incomplete goods and poor customer service

This set arrived incomplete. Their product spec says it should come with 20 screws, which is still way too few. If you were to completely fill a 6U wall shelf, you would need 4 screws for each unit. 6x4=24. However, I only have 12! Then I had to order more screws for $17! I contacted the company and gave them an opportunity to rectify the situation and they stood firm. This device is very thin. It will be more stable as you add hardware, but then you don't get screws to add hardware to make itโ€ฆ

Excellent stand with fatally defective screw holes

Let's start with the bad: This stand has threaded holes for attaching devices that don't even fit with the screws provided. It seems that "painting" is part of the problem. The best you can do is thread the screws in and out before assembly to clean some of the paint. No joy to use. If this post had square holes instead of threads I would be happy. I like everything else about this mount.

Pros
  • Many will fit

  • Long delivery time

Nice little rack with custom screw holes

Bought for home network rack installation. Overall it's quite nice, folds up and has adjustable depth. My only complaint (I should have read more carefully) is that the screw holes in the rack are sub-standard. It comes with its own screws which seem to work well although I agree with one of the other reviews that they are a little tight due to the colour. I have some standard rack nuts and bolts and they don't fit this unit because the size is different. As long as you don't lose these screws,

Good Little Pop-Up Rack

Needed for a pilot project for use with some audio rackmount equipment. It's a little fiddly to put on the gear until you connect at least one device to it, but other than that it's quite okay. Even with other hardware installed on it, it still feels a little flimsy, but to be honest, sitting on the floor it's fine. Although I'm not sure if it will be wall mounted. I'd probably go for something more durable for more professional/heavy duty use, but then again it's not too bad. When mounted on a

Screws do not fit in shelves and cabinets

Screws do not fit in holes. It's solid and you can't even screw them in with a drill. Arguing about returning this or trying to drill the holes a bit to fit. Both options are a little ridiculous, definitely not happy with the product as it is. Square holes would be better. The rest of the device is solid and adjustable.

Here's what I found out. Everything is OK.

This is a good option for a not too deep stance. The included mounting screws are only about 1 inch, so they cannot be used to mount to a house wall without adding a wood backing. Only half of the equipment was in the package. mounting screws too. So if you fill a 6U rack, each 1U component will only have 2 screws. Prebuilt Gear. The holes also seemed to have a different thread pitch compared to the screws that came with it, meaning you had to tighten the screws to fully secure them. I ended up

Good product but missing 5 stars

Good value for money especially for a home or small office. This would be a 5 star item if the unit came with sidewall support. As many have said, it's weak until you set the first element. Some locking stops need to be included in the design to hold the side panels in place. Another option would be to add a simple latch to the crossbar to hold it in place. Also, the product works, it includes my 16-port Netgear switch, which will soon add a 24-port and a 48-port patch panel. As with manyโ€ฆ
