Works great as spares

Ordered 6 of these and they were good. after installation 3 of them fogged up from the water in the lens and now each one has rusted the metal wire mount on the back. I recommend waxing the dome to keep it shiny and oiling the wire holder. and also tighten the screws on the bottom of the lens to prevent water ingress. otherwise it is a good product

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Good (off-road) headlights.

Very bright, good for spotting problems - deer, possums, road debris - on long stretches of road (oops! I meant off-road). These are the same headlights I bought and installed 3 years ago and rusted through the chrome after about a year. I didn't realize this until I received them as they are under different marketing gear. But still cheap and useful.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Concise instructions

WOW what a beautiful light

I have 5 of these on my 95 4 runner mounted on a Safari rack. They throw an incredible amount of light in front of my truck. It's like the day that's ahead of me at night. They do not consume too much energy and have an optimal price. I have KCdaylighters and the difference in light output is barely noticeable: KC lights are a bit brighter but 5 times more expensive.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Not bad at all considering HID has around 100.

Purchased 2 for case only. Painted them gloss black. and HID with 55 watts, only thin ballasts are suitable. So the total cost is 70$ and 2 HID 55W hidden from street lights. Not bad at all considering HIDs cost 100 at 35 watts. Factory bulbs are ok, just not as good as HID. So do as I do, gut the innards and replace them. Paint them or they will rust, the chrome plating on them is disgusting. but for the price it's a steal. I'll post a photo when I get a chance to go into the deep forest…

Thought they were a lot brighter

I bought these to fit my 2013 Polaris RZR. Each light was wired separately (2 wires each) to the fuse box via high quality 20 amp Daystar switches. They're no brighter than the RZR's headlights. We double checked the bulbs and they turned out to be 100w H3 bulbs. The lights were cheap enough so I won't run into them, I think they're good value for money. I'm not sure if it's just cheap lightbulbs or something like that. I just remember my late 80's Silverado had KC bulbs and when you turned…

Good but not the best lighting

I bought these lights because they were cheap. After reading the rest of the reviews I knew they would not come with instructions or wiring components and I was fine with that. All you really need to hook them up is a wire (12 gauge is best), a relay, a switch, and a little time. You'll probably also want to have a built-in fuse. The real reason I only gave those four stars is because I was hoping they would be brighter. I mean, I bought them more for looks than functionality, but I still wish…

Cheap because of the best lighting and electrical

First of all, I understand that these are cheap headlights and I don't expect them to be the equivalent of $200 high beam headlights. I bought them for 1967. MGB GT, mainly because they look like contemporary headlights on vintage British sports cars. Regardless of what's on the list, THESE ARE NOT 100 WATT LAMPS. These are standard 55 watt halogen bulbs, just like the typical high beam headlights you buy at Walmart or auto parts stores. UPDATE 6/2913/07: The product description now clearly…
