Best solution, best screen protector

I bought Navishade for a 2015 Highlander Limited hoping it would reduce sun glare and more importantly visibility of the screen would improve when wearing polarized sunglasses. I was disappointed Pros: None for the 2015 Highlander Cons: Inefficient warping Sides curve inward, covering part of the screen BEST SOLUTION: I ordered a Nushield DayVue removable screen protector for the 8 inch display. This solved my problem. Now I can see the backup screen clearly even with polarized glasses. The…

It helps reduce the glare on my 2019 Toyota Highlander

. I am using this on my new 2019 Highlander after finding the sun glare on the navigation screen horrible! It's not a perfect solution, but it's useful. When I know it's going to be a cloudy day I take it apart and put it in the glove box, but on sunny days it helps - it doesn't block the sun completely, but it's certainly an improvement on that issue Toyota should have had. corrected. Using the navigation screen for actual navigation isn't enough, but it hides enough to see what music is…

It works. - GPS, finder and accessories

This product is slightly more expensive than what you get. It's a piece of plastic with clips. But he does what he says. This item is probably best for aftermarket full touch screen car stereos. As noted by other reviews, if you have buttons or anything protruding, you may need to make changes to the navigation bar. I have a Pioneer radio tape recorder with buttons and a touch screen and the Navishade doesn't interfere with any of the buttons. There is nothing you can do when the sun is shining

Works well, but the price is way too expensive!

I really hate myself for buying this, mainly because it works and I'm keeping it. I've always had trouble seeing my 13 Prius' screen except on the cloudiest days (or nights). I saw it and it looked like it would suit my needs. Let's be clear, it is. It shades the screen very well even on the clearest and sunniest days (every 3 days in Michigan). But I'm deducting a star because of the price. Let's be honest, this is a $10 product. There's probably less than $1 worth of plastic (at cost) out…

Subaru/2017 WRX - NOT suitable without significant modification.

WRX 2017 - NOT suitable. Too expensive for three cheap plastic pieces that snap together, can't be adjusted, can't be detached without breaking them, nothing sharp or fancy. For example, it could be improved to install a rigid fabric that is not likely to tear on every impact. However, I wanted a solution - cut and glue the pieces with epoxy and it worked. If it fits, or you fit it, it blocks the sun pretty well. It was very tempting to return, but it really does the job. The parts are centered

Mods needed for a base 2013 Toyota Tacoma Small Cab with base Toyota Audio

I don't do that much but the product turned out to be no less than in good condition in a small envelope. I was thrilled to see the audio screen in my 2013 Toyota Tacoma which was listed as a perfect fit. Well, it was far from perfect. Grips with attached side wings were unusable. It fits perfectly in the CD player slot, but I haven't tested if you can actually take it out, put a CD in and put it back in, I'm assuming it will work somehow. I have emailed people at Nextgadget three times. NO…

made me dream of full sized double din

I don't have a Prius (thank goodness) but I have a full sized double din car stereo that gets very bad glare. I haven't driven a Prius on a clear, sunny day, so I don't know how bad that glare is, but I'm pretty sure mine is even worse. Thought it might be worth a try as I don't know where my CD case is anyway. You have two problems landing on a standard size 2 din stereo. Problem 1 - falling side panels. Instead of going straight down, they slope inward. Since my standard size 2-DIN stereo is…

Great purchase - just what I needed

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this fits and works in my 2015 Toyota Tacoma which has a backup camera and audio screen which is great is prone to washing out in the sun, sometimes dangerous when I need a rear camera. Does it perfectly shade 100% of the sunlight? no Is this significant improvement worth the cost? Yes, in any case. I was a little concerned that if I put this thing in the CD slot the audio system would block attempts to play the CD all the time. No worries in my car. You…

Worked great on my 2019 4Runner (Entune Nav/Audio system - CD above screen)

design) - any sunlight causes terrible glare/blur on the screen so I looked for a solution and tried this product. So far this has reduced most glare by 80-90% - depending on the angle at which the light hits the windows. There will never be a perfect solution, but it was close. It didn't interfere with any of my knobs or control knobs and didn't hurt not having to cut anything to access my system's knobs, which raised concerns after reading some reviews (can't tell how these fit into anyone's…
