Description of Neewer 13ft / 390cm Dual Rotatable Aluminum Tripod Boom Light Stand with Sandbag – Ideal for Studio Photography and Video Recording

A great way to improve your lighting for product and portrait photography. Extend the bar and adjust the angle using the butterfly knob and you will have a stand with a two section boom ready to use. The arm bar can be extended to the length of 75inch/190cm.Sets up easily in a matter of seconds.3 legs stages at the bottom to have solid stability. The boom allows you to place a light directly over your subject matter for great separation and light control. It can also be rotated to 180 degree,so you can shoot the subject under different angle, and then you will capture various beauties of it. An included sandbag gives a perfect counterbalance for safety and smooth movement.Note:The softbox is not included.Do NOT take out the boom arm to use it as light stand.

Adequate for my purposes

The stand is strong enough to hold a flash and a softbox (e.g. for hair). It's a little long even when in the storage position, making it difficult to find a bag to put it in (but I found one at Revain). The main problem I have is that the loop rubs against the washer even when it's fully loosened, so every time I move it, small pieces of the loop get cut off. I think I can still use it and I don't want to mess with the return. For this price I think it will suffice for my purposes. If you plan

Beautiful and durable, best in lighting and studio

So far so good. He seems very strong and well built. Maybe not very heavy, but they are much stronger than the light frames I've had before. It stretches very high - I don't think I'll ever need that height - ever. The boom arm is stored in the second section and must be raised before extending. Some people might miss this, so pay attention to where the locking lever is. The knobs on the stand are mostly plastic and need to be tightened very firmly to stay in place. I was hoping they would be a

Decent arrow stand for some purposes.

I have a cowboy studio version of this 2-in-1 stand that I bought years ago and it's still available here for $75. This stand is quite sturdy and can support my flashes in a studio setting and it can handle heavy loads like a straight stand. It's the same basic design, but it's cheaper for some reason. They are not built the same. The cowboy studio version has sturdy riveted legs, while this one has extremely thin legs that wobble a lot and thinner metal held together with nuts and bolts that…

Great video tripod

I used a regular video tripod for a while but it was impossible to shoot straight down and my videos didn't look very professional as a result. I did some research and found this tripod that shoots straight down with a counterbalance and decided to give it a try. The tripod came without a case, but I found it to be a very good tripod. I actually found it quite heavy, but I find it heavy because of the good quality. You can raise it to a considerable height and either fire a straight shot or…

Lightweight steroid rack

This is my first barbell rack, maybe they all are, but this rack is significantly larger than your standard lightweight rack. Everything is thicker and stronger, and the base of the stand opens wider than a basic cheap lighting stand, although the overall design remains the same. Aside from the added overall performance of this tripod, the main difference to a regular lighting tripod is obviously the extension arm and the tilting mechanism that makes this possible. The tilting mechanism is also
