A stainless steel sink drilled!

I tried to drill a hole in a stainless steel sink with a titanium drill bit I already have and failed miserably. It just made a small dent on it and nothing else. I did some research and it was recommended so I gave it a try. I took the advice of one of the reviewers, used olive oil and drilled at low speed. I was able to drill and make a 1/2 inch diameter hole in my stainless steel sink in minutes. I almost gave up and it was my last hope. I'm so glad I decided to try it. I'll probably buy a…

Drilled through my Weber kettle with ease!

I bought this nozzle and a smaller stage nozzle so I can drill a full hole in the side of the Weber kettle to install the temp sensor port. I've read reviews of other step bits about them peeling off and becoming unusable after just one use. Luckily I didn't have such problems with this beat. After about 10 minutes of non-stop drilling, it was still in perfect condition and did its job admirably. I abuse this thing daily.

I repair docks for a living. When I started my business, I refused to take out a loan for tools, so my spending was limited. I have invested most of my money in high-quality cordless instruments. I also bought some cheap stuff because I knew they only had to keep me going for a few months before the money started flowing.
