So glad I found the right size!

After trying the smallest size Medela breast shield and still experiencing some pain/pinching and white circles around my areola, I’m really glad I found these. I don’t consider my nipples to be really small but for what ever reason, they are small enough that these are the only ones that I can use ongoing without any pain. If you aren’t pumping regularly (I pump 4x a day) then it’s worth it to try out different sizes until you find the one that fits best.

Pros
  • ‎4.2 ounces
Cons
  • Possible need for frequent replacements

100% compatible for my opinion

Just before getting pregnant I bought a pump in style Medela pump on clearance for $20. What I didn't know was finding the parts would be near impossible. Finding this on Revain was a godsend. At times the pump is on but there doesn't appear to be suction but ultimately the always work and are decent quality given its so hard to find brand name accessories.

Pros
  • Ideal replacement for lost or damaged Medela pump parts
Cons
  • Potential for decreased suction power

this is NOT an official medela product. ithought it was because they use the brand name. they are made SIMILARLY in shape ONLY to the medela personal fit but the plastic is hard and has sharp edges. the valve is not separate from the cup. i have large breasts with a smaller nipple and while these are the correct size for me (21mm) , because they are not made as rounded or with soft plastic like the official medela products, they cut into my breasts and damaged my nipples because of the…

Pros
  • Provides a perfect fit for your breast size
Cons
  • Potential for parts to become clogged

Works just as expected. It’s a little difficult to find the smaller sizes in the name brand, but there’s no need because this functions perfectly. I like that I can afford to buy an extra set to save on washing too.

Pros
  • Allows you to customize the suction level to your preference
Cons
  • Potential for lower milk yield

They toot and spill milk out of top.

I like that they are easy to use. Semi-easy to clean. But there are 2 holes in the part that screws on to the bottle and MILK COMES OUT! if milk gets high enough and too close to the valve part. Which leaves me with about an ounce and a half of empty space in the bottle. Also, it toots like a horn with every pump and it's LOUD and ended up waking up my baby, as I pump in the same room. The toot is really quite annoying. I thought I would be able to ignore it after a while, but the more I use…

Pros
  • Can be used with different flanges with the same diameter
Cons
  • Possible concerns with odors or tastes in milk

Gets the job done - my new review

Definitely gets the job done, after ordering I realized I actually prefer more parts, as in, the separate flange and connector part for easier cleaning. This is also difficult to get into a pumping bras but it gets the job done so I can’t complain.

Pros
  • Provides excellent pumping results even for exclusive pumpers
Cons
  • May cause pain or discomfort in the breasts

Not for use with pumping bra

Is more difficult to use with a pumping bra. It has less pieces to clean with us nice. Works just as well as Medela parts. That's my review.

Pros
  • Allows for discreet and noiseless pumping sessions
Cons
  • Potential for suction power to weaken over time

Would purchase again

I have the Medela Symphony and the 19mm shield was the correct size. The shield and connector itself is one piece.I kinda liked and disliked that part; to pump it's very easy to assemble but to wash & dry it's a little bit more work. Also, if you plan to use a hands-free pumping bra it might not work because of the one piece shield. On a side note, it really does make a difference using the correct size shield. I was using the 24mm shield my pump came with and it didn't hurt but there was a…

Pros
  • Helps maintain a healthy milk supply
Cons
  • Potential for loss of milk supply over time

Absolutely love these. I pump exclusively and the "standard" shields that came with my pump were too big for me. I figured this out after speaking to a lactation consultant about how sore and tender my nipples were during pumping. I went from pumping every 3 hours to now every 4.5 hours, so I pump a lot, and I have to say how grateful I am that Nenesupply makes shields smaller than 21 mm. The 19 mm are the perfect size for me, and have made pumping so much easier and quicker. In…

Pros
  • Provides full milk expression in less time
Cons
  • May require more frequent cleaning of pump motor

Nice back-up pump on my review.

I ordered this as a second pump so I don't have to clean mine every night after work. It works with my medula pump just fine. The edges of the plastic at the back of the pump where the tube connects are a little rough but other than that I'm perfectly happy with it.

Pros
  • Helps improve milk production
Cons
  • May not be easy to clean

These are not the same as Medela

These are not the same as Medela. As soon as I took them out of the package, I put them right back for return. While the tunnel width is 27mm and the quality appeared to be comparable to Medela, there were several differences that I noticed immediately.1. The tunnel was shorter than the Medela brand2. The width of the dish part of these shields was more like one on the 24mm shields. It's #2 that made me stop and take notice. The width is important because it's meant to cover the areola. If they…

Pros
  • Ideal for moms returning to work or school
Cons
  • Possible issues with milk composition

Fit is good, cleaning a bit more difficult

I ordered the 19mm and it fits much better. I actually didn't know they cane smaller then 21mm so I was happy to find these. Unfortunately, these are all one piece so I find them a bit more difficult to clean. It is nice not having extra pieces to handle, but not at the expense of a thorough cleaning. For that reason, I knocked a star off of my overall rating of this product

Pros
  • Offers the same quality as original Medela pump parts
Cons
  • Possible issues with pump calibration

Great for the price.

These work well, are affordable and are compatible With my medela pump. I just wish it wasn’t all one piece. These are a bit of a pain to clean.

Pros
  • ‎N009VM.24
Cons
  • Possible irritation from parts materials

Fits perfect for Medela pump!

This fits perfectly with the Medela bottles. Only thing I didn't like about it is that it's one piece whereas the flanges that come with the pump are 2 piece (the flange and then the pump part). Being one piece makes it slightly more difficult to put on and take off with a pump bra. Otherwise this product serves its purpose since Medela doesn't make flanges smaller than 21mm.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • May cause pump malfunction

These are great for the price!

I ordered these as the shields that came stock with my Medela PISA were too large. I was very pleased with these, considering they are more cost effective than ordering Medela brand. The only thing I didn't notice before purchasing was that the shield and valve are all one piece - versus Medela where they can be separated. The only thing this changes about the pumping experience is if you're using a pumping bra you will need to "thread" the valve through the bra cut-outs before attaching the…

Pros
  • BPA-free materials for safe use
Cons
  • May cause milk to be lost during expression

Happy pumping, happy mama, happy baby.

Exactly what my momsicles needed!Unfortunately, the sizes (24mm and 27mm) that came with my medella pump were too much for me to handle. I found that using these 21mm did wonders for my session in terms of not sectioning my entire areola and breast into the flange, just the nipple and a small part of the aerola making it a lot more comfortable!Milk flow and cleaning: they don't come apart like the standard ones (three seperate pieces) I received with the pump, it's an all-in-one unit. I…

Pros
  • Offers a budget-friendly alternative to Medela pump parts
Cons
  • Possible issues with absorption of milk

Great product: my feedback

I have bought 4 pairs for my Medela Pump in Style Advanced breastpump. They work great. I love how they have longer shafts than the original Medel

Pros
  • Provides a leak-proof seal, reducing the risk of spills
Cons
  • May require adjustments to pump settings

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Just the shield please!

I really like how easily the parts work with my Medela Pump. I wish it was possible to buy just the shield to use with the connectors I already had. This would make it a lot easier to use with my hands-free pumping bra. Also I probably should have ordered a 17 instead of a 19, that was my fault.

Pros
  • Can be used with hands-free pumping bras
Cons
  • Possible issues with charging the pump

Thank you! - my new review

Not only were the new shelds the best price I found for two they work so much better than what came with the stock breast pump. The stock size was extremely too big and caused my nipples, areola and some breast tissue to be pulled in and made raw. The company I bought the pump from doesn't even go down to a size 19mm! I'm grateful to have found this product not only because it's stopped the chafing and soreness my milk production has gone up and with 2 newborn twins I need ever ml I can get. So

Pros
  • Provides an excellent value for its price
Cons
  • Possible issues with pumping speed

Just as good as medela

Just as good as medela. Use interchangeably with medela parts and see no difference. I have 4 sets total to get me through a 12 hour shift, then wash everything when I get home. So much better.

Pros
  • Can be used for both manual and electric pumps
Cons
  • Possible safety concerns for premature infants
