weak plastic. Not made to last. Very disappointed.

I have had a Nespresso coffee machine for 18 years. This is Git at last. We didn't need luxury, so we went with this one. Made so cheap! I understand why my original lasted so long. The water tank is really cheap plastic and don't expect this machine to last 3 years let alone 18 years. Easy to use. I like the new way of ejecting capsules. I'm afraid that if I drop any part it will break. I don't care if I get a replacement. I saw this model when I was in Germany. It wasn't that cheap…

In time, this will happen to every owner! Read the instructions!

This was a great anniversary present until it broke a few months later! The machine is in a kind of descaling mode! I read the instructions and descaled the machine, I spent money on a descaler and the machine still doesn't work! The Nespresso site is of no help and now I don't have my favorite thing in the morning! I spent hundreds of dollars on capsules so this happened after 10 months of use, I'm furious! Terrible problem, especially since it worked fine! But some sensor turns it off!

Broke twice in first 6 months - won't buy again

Bought at full price in March, broke in July. Coffee started pouring out of the machine. It is not used even daily and broke within a few weeks. After contacting Nespresso for a repair, it took a full week to get the padded repair box to send in for warranty repair and then another two weeks to get it back, only to have the same problem again a few weeks later occurred. Once again I have to send in an obviously defective item instead of getting a replacement. At the moment I'm just fixing it to

Pros

Cons
  • No Instructions

While other brands of single-shot coffee machines have nothing to improve on their technology, Nespresso has a qualitative leap forward did . -Machine is much quieter- One touch for (quick) heating and brewing - Fully customizable cup size from 2 to 14 oz (basic idea lost at Caffitaly or Starbucks) (By the way I wouldn't pay more for ALTO 14 capsules per ounce - more intense standard sizes, seems to stretch to over 12 ounces and still gives you a great cup.) - Water tank that you can pick up in

Another leaking customer

My husband bought me a Nespresso Vertuo Plus for my birthday in December 2019. Until June 2020 it leaks with every use. He saw that several older models sold at Revain were rated less than 4 stars due to some durability issues, so he settled on this 4.5 star version. I used it several times a week, mostly on weekends, until I started working from home in March due to COVID-19. I liked the coffee and the variety of capsules available but I am very disappointed with the quality of the machine…

Quick and easy coffee/espresso maker

Nespresso VertuoPlus coffee and espresso machine by De'Longhi is my second Nespresso machine. I bought it almost six months ago and it has held up well. The device is significantly quieter than my Nespresso Pixie espresso maker and heats up faster. For early morning use, the Pixie is loud enough to wake light sleepers. With a new car, that's not a problem. I love the ability to brew full-size cups of coffee, and the selection of pods that came with the machine was diverse enough to help me find

Fashionable espresso machine

This is my first Nespresso Vertuoline and I love it. I bought it on sale on Black Friday along with a milk frother for $113. Let's start with the ease of use of this espresso machine. You press the top coffee button and the machine heats up, the green light is solid and it's ready to brew. Insert your favorite capsule, close the top lid and press the coffee button. Did I mention the motorized capsule cap? The lid is opened and closed by touching the lever, after which the capsules are placed in

  • Durable workmanship

  • Expensive

Amazing coffee taste but at a very high price

If you have never tasted coffee from a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, you must try it. This is a whole notch above Keurig-style brewing. Most coffee makers use a variety of hot water pouring options for coffee grounds, from standard drip machines to the convenient Keurig machines. The first-generation Nespresso machine used the traditional espresso technique of forcing pressurized water through the coffee grounds. While this produces excellent coffee, it is also noisy and prone to mechanical…
