Ok for the price: USB network adapter

Compact and looks great. It tends to disconnect from WiFi when an error flies by and needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled to restore service, but this could be a compatibility issue with the operating system, which is Windows 7. Easy to install but it doesn't come with instructions so just run the software CD and it will set it up. Update - When removing the adapter from the USB port, the black end of the pen came loose. It still works but needs to be fixed and I will check with the supplier

Terrible product, do not recommend.

I initially gave this product five stars because it worked. I left this review after using it once and it was a real struggle to keep it going! Basically, I have to reinstall the driver every time I turn my computer on or off. If it works, great, but getting it to work isn't worth the time. I've tried a few things that others have mentioned (like just installing the driver, etc.) but nothing seems to work. Even if Windows claims that the driver is working correctly and the device is found, the…

Affordable Compact Adapter - Strong Enough Signal Strength

The Net-Dyn 802.11n USB WiFi Adapter is a very compact USB WiFi adapter at a quite affordable price. I plugged it into my computer (running Windows 10 x64) and it immediately set up with the default drivers and allowed me to connect to our home network with no issues. Performance was poor and signal strength was pretty high all the time. My only complaint is that the black case over the circuit board comes off easily. When I pulled it out of the USB port to rearrange it in a more convenient…

Cons
  • Weak Kit

I've been using it on the Windows 7 desktop for several months. I am grateful for that. It gets partially or fully disconnected quite often, and then I have to unplug it from the USB port, plug it back in, and plug it back in. This can happen a few times, and then there can be a long stretch without disconnects. Another bug is that when the computer goes to sleep with the adapter plugged in and running, sometimes Win 7 shuts down incorrectly instead of going to sleep. If I remember to unplug…

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are minuses

This device is clearly not something the average Mac user would want to use and after going through so many hoops I think this is it that only the most desperate Metal-headed Mac user would want to use. A few problems I found: 1. Mini CD is useless, needs to be installed from website (links to numerous other reviews)2. Installed, doesn't work with Apple network settings - must use company software (which I can't remove at this time)3. Most random Wi-Fi locations that ask you for a browser don't

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Works great, easy to understand.

There were several similar wireless adapters for the same price as this one. I chose this one after researching manufacturers and reading reviews. What attracted me to it is the ridges on the sides (you can see them in the photo) which are pretty easy to put on and take off. These objects have gotten so small that when they're smooth they're hard to grab, especially when they're next to another object plugged into the USB port next to them. Got this for my laptop after the built in wifi stopped

From skeptical to. WOW!

OK. I was skeptical, I'll admit! For just a few bucks, could I turn my old HP desktop into Wi-Fi? What will the speed be? How difficult would it be to install it on an old Windows (XP? 7? I don't even remember.) on a Windows 10 dinosaur (which still works great)? Well guys, now I believe! I took the product out of the box, saw the MINI CD (which wouldn't work on my computer, so I got a little scared, but remembered previous reviews that most people without the CD "installed automatically" stuck

Thin but strong in power supplies

Pound for pound, this is great value. I have a small tech company and this saved me. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga and sometime over a year ago the WiFi went down. While I was still under warranty, an IT rep told me I would have to give up my laptop for a few days while they file a claim with Lenovo and either get a replacement or send a tech to swap out the motherboard. So maybe 1 day without my laptop, maybe 5 or more. Wanting to back up some things on my computer for fear of data loss…
