Excellent adapters. Required for laying an underground fiber optic link between two networks. The mileage is about 120 meters. No questions.

Adding a new separate network to other buildings. Just what we need to convert an existing fiber to a new network. Works as described and at high speeds. They also don't use a lot of energy.

Product does what it says on the box, uses a laser to convert ethernet to light and the box at the other end converts it back again, a bit like magic , just without pulling the rabbit out of the hat. As it is a gigabit converter, high network speeds are supported. Customer service was excellent, when they sent me the wrong type everything was sorted out very quickly and effortlessly. If you want to maintain a fast network and extend it with light beyond the physical limitations of Category 5…

Have two of these and both are bad. The seller sent two more, and one of the wires in the power supply broke. I did a continuous ping from one to the other and had a very long TTL time. Not reliable at all!

I didn't want to run new fiber but we needed to upgrade that old 100Mb cable to gigabit. These ST fiber to gigabit adapters did the job and still work great.

Works great. Doesn't heat up. Do you want to increase your speed? . It's much better than Fastethernet but has 10/100 backwards compatibility.
