**UPDATE. My first assessment of it was completely unfounded. User error I guess because it's awesome. The trick is not to use it like you would a regular lip balm. That's what I did and I didn't invest enough time to work on it. The trick is to use it until your lips are primed (after a few days, use often as needed) and then only use it when your other lip creams aren't enough.
