Easy to use, still holds up strong (2 weeks in high traffic areas). I had a thin, lint-free rug that my kids pushed around (accidentally, as I expected when I put the rug in that spot, since it's a popular place to play!), so I knew I had more than one would need carpet/the grip I use on most of my other mats. It works well and looks good from above.

This is GREAT carpet tape. I've used it outside and inside and it's amazing! On our cement floor in our patio outside, he immediately fixed the corners of the new carpet I put in that kept curling up. It's been about a year now and the rug is still in place and doesn't pucker! I have also used it in a house with problem carpets and this tape is amazing. This tape is so strong that even strong carpet scissors cannot cut it. When you finally wrestle enough (half tear, half cut) your scissors will have a thick sticky film on them. This tape is overkill if you just want the rug to stay in place. There are also footprints on the ground. I would like to send it back, but of course I can't. Not recommended. Instead, I'm going to try the Duck Brand 260485 Hold-It Carpet Adhesive.

I don't know why I didn't do this years ago. Finally my dog and I can go to the kitchen and bathroom without tiptoing across carpets for fear of falling. Because we both have a past. I used very little tape. On both ends of the mats and on my long ones I added a small piece in the middle. I did this about 2 months ago and I vacuumed them lightly every 2 days and they didn't move. i am sold The best product I've bought in years!

I first bought it for my LVP floor mats.
