    Total disappointment: my rating

    First fit is fine. After two months of use, the bottom parts fall off. Something in the arch of the right boot is against my leg. Every pair of NBs I have ever worn have been great. It's absolutely awful.

    Fast. my rating is the best in my rating

    very light, lively, fast shoe. Beautiful tongue and lacing and a great sneaker that goes back to basics with nothing special but a well thought out design and a great fit. I WANT them to be a little more squishy, but at high speed that need goes away and you get a responsive, lightweight shoe with great pivot.

    Very good universal

    The shoe delivers what it promises. Great stability, finely cushioned and no weight. Also a visual win! Can recommend the shoe to denambit runners (not beginners) immediately! In addition, the price here was simply great! Once more New Balance!

    Great racing shoes and shoes for a quick workout. "Fits true to size " which means a size reduction from many others

    I don't know why all these reviews say to increase the size. I wear 12/46/30 cm in Nike, Brooks, Adidas and these, like most New Balance, are truer to size. so I wear 11.5/45.5/29 cm for the appropriate size. I tried 12s and they were too big. NOTE. I have the lace up version, not the BOA version. This is a great shoe for fast training and racing with minimal support for moderate stability. They have a thin profile over a shorter profile that is great for off-road traction before it wears out…

    The New Balance 1500v4 in case you don't know what it is. The running feeling is thus negatively affected, although of course it has to be said that this is very personal.

    I bought it specifically for this year's Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon. As many reviews say, they are fast, responsive and comfortable. So far I've used them to run three 5k and a halfs and I've felt they all worked very well.     Strange language in my review.

    The sides of the shoe tongue are sewn in place and the tongue sits snugly against the top of the foot making it difficult to get into the boot once the laces are fully loosened. Length and width of the shoes were ok.

    The shoes are true all-rounders - regardless of whether you run short distances or longer. I have received several shoes from New Balance and found that these run a little smaller or narrower. I found other models of the same size to be a bit wider and my feet didn't have the support they have with these shoes.     I have a wide flat fit over pronation and these are the best shoes I have ever worn. I tried the 1500v3s and really liked them but found them too tight and the phantom fit curled which was distracting when running. When the 1500v4 came out they made it a bit wider and that made a big difference. I hate running but really enjoy my daily runs in these shoes.

    I'm a regular New Balance customer and I usually like their shoes, but I don't like these shoes. It's too light, too small and too narrow even though it's marked "wide"?!? And the laces are too short! Stay away from these shoes.

    Comfortable, light, wide racing model - top class

    I've worn the V2 for over 3 marathons and 5 halves. The V4s share the same fit and have the same great 'hugging' fit that is so characteristic of the 1500 Series. I would definitely recommend the great comfort and light weight of this shoe to everyone from sprinters to long distance runners. The NB does a great job of adapting a wide foot to a running shoe. This would be the second order of many from the 16th century.

    FINALLY! Get fit again from NB!

    First shoes, use them for runs up to 20km. A note: These are (as shown in the product photo) the "New Balance 1500v4" and NOT v5 as given in the product name; that would be the green successor model. But that's exactly what I wanted, because the fit of the v5 was changed a bit so that it no longer fits me.

    I have been in a love-hate relationship with NB for over 35 years. I did my best with the mighty 727s. So good that when the 828 was released (essentially a reissue of the 727 but in a different colour) I bought 10 pairs. I also got hurt by some terrible shoes from NB.     I love the New Balance but this is the worst shoe they have ever made! I knew it would run small so I ordered a larger size and still my feet hurt so much! I have been using the Temper-Pedic insoles and my legs still hurt which also caused back pain! Do not take any risks! Buy another model, it's not worth it!

    The NB 1500v4 is my favorite running shoe. This is my third set and I keep liking them. Light, comfortable and durable, I usually use them for a year before wearing out the heel sole. New flip flops fit right in and I never tell the difference.
