New Balance MW411WT2 Walking Shoes Review

When I received them they were probably one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. After 5 months one of the eyelets tore the skin because a metal eyelet was missing. After that, it was almost impossible to tie them. I've even unzipped and relaced, skipping this eyelet and the sister eyelet on the opposite side. It was better but not great. After a very short time this pair of shoes came loose at the bottom - this is the second or third time this has happened to me at New Balance. I've always liked these shoes, I used to go for 608s and tried this style as they ended up being the same style etc. The quality of New Balance really went downhill for some reason, as with the recent break in the glue joint happened. I bought New Balance shoes and I was happy with them. Not this time when I wear them I feel like they are unsupportive. NO arch support. This is a very light shoe that should be worn indoors but not outdoors where you can run some distance. After wearing them all day, my arches hurt and my ankles felt terrible. I put my old Nike shoes back on and noticed a huge difference in weight and support. Not a very good product.

Although the price was very low, the show fit perfectly. It's wider than most so it really fits my foot. I'm sure it won't last long as the quality seems a bit low but at this price if it lasts 3 months it was a steal.

I bought a pair over a year ago. After wearing them for 10 months I bought another pair. Mistake! Should have bought them again, not changed. Fixed this error now.

I've been wearing these shoes for 2.5 years. I mean the same pair. And I walk around quite a bit in my job. Daily. I had no intention of wearing a pair for so long. But I tried to reduce my personal debt. The boots have mostly worn well. At about 2 years old, they began to diverge at the toes. One thing that may have contributed to the life of the shoe is that I wear street shoes when I get home from work. In general, they were quite comfortable. I have high arches. So support is very important

I like everything about this shoe except the bright white color. The photo shows that it is some kind of off-white, almost gray. Not so. I have to smear dirt on them like the MLB do with their baseballs.

Great shot and one of the most comfortable I've worn to walk around. I bought the black first and the white is the blue and I will keep buying it. The good thing I did is I bought the regular one instead of the weird one that suits me better. I recommend not going far unless you have really wide feet.

Do not want it. Couldn't be worn for 15 minutes before my legs started to hurt more on one side than the other. Wear New Balance for at least 25 years because of the extra width. This style was a big disappointment.

Today was the first day I wore them, they fit perfectly and were very comfortable. I have diabetes and I really have bad neuropathy, at the end of the day my legs felt good.

These are my shoes for work and leisure. They are very comfortable. I had plantar fasciitis and needed shoes to cushion the effects of my steps and these are what get the job done for me and I've bought many brands before that. I am very happy with the quality and value I am getting with these shoes.

The shoes were fine for 1-2 hours at home, but when I took them outside for a 2 mile walk, the left shoe didn't bend to the right. This caused a blue feeling just behind my toes. Even after being tightened several times until they break, they do not bend. It got a little better, but still uncomfortable. Once you wear them outside, you cannot return them to that seller; So I wore them indoors first and they were fine indoors. This is my first and last pair of New Balance shoes that I will buy.

I've had these shoes for years and the pairs I buy here cost less but last the same - what more could you ask for? Thanks for attention.

This shoe fits. This is the model number I get all the time as it satisfies me in every way. Well done, supportive and attractive. Completely satisfied.

Bought these for my husband and he loves them. The low weight is a real plus as you don't feel like you're dragging your feet when you walk. Also, the wide width option was what he was looking for.

I'm on my feet all day, walking 15-18 miles a day and my feet don't hurt after work. I've tried other brands of shoes that say they offer great support and are more expensive, but my feet hurt in the middle of the day.

Walking boots! HA! A year plus random walks (I'm 73!) and these shoes are hardly suitable for gardening! Heels wear out very quickly! Crap!

I rarely buy shoes online but have used New Balance shoes for many years as they are just one of several companies offering a wide range of tennis/sports shoes. They always fit and I never had to stop a period.
