Brightness (Contrast)

You cannot adjust the Brightness (Contrast) but up I don't like it. You cannot see what is on the screen because the brightness (contrast) cannot be reduced ONLY UP.

A must have for a tuner

Bought just to clear fault codes and check engine light to inspect my car. Some mods throw error codes. He cleared it just before the inspection and let my car through. worth your money

Everyone should have one at home

I recognize and understand problems with my car after purchase. I checked the error codes and explained the problems with my car to the technician and fixed the problems before the inspection. It costs money

Does what the Tools & Equipment section says

This device works exactly as advertised. If you have a check engine light you can plug it in and it will tell you what's going on. With many codes you can also reset the code, for example you can reset the oil change indicator yourself after changing the oil. For more esoteric faults (like something with an exhaust system) you may still need to take it to a mechanic, but you can google the fault code first and get a good idea of what it means in layman's terms and how much the average repair…

Great product, easy to use

NEXPEAK OBD2 scanner, car engine code reader, car diagnostic tool, car emissions analyzer, works as expected. I had no trouble reading or clearing codes. The screen is easy to read and the interface is easy to use. I particularly like that it includes a description of the error and not just the error code itself. Reading is basic

Comes with a 27 page instruction manual…….HOW FUN. My brain shut down immediately. Then we just plugged it into a small socket :-) and let it do what it needs. So that's the easy part. The hard part was figuring out the codes, which are easy to google in cheat sheet form. Firstly I have a 2008 car and before I used it (one day) the check engine light wasn't on and the next day the check engine light suddenly comes on which is ODD (true story).
