Really good for the price

Very good for the price. The easy-to-use data collection software is simple yet useful. It would be nice to be able to scale at least the chart axes to any size.

Pros

Handpiece for NexGraph 3.4

The device is well assembled in a metal case. I've struggled to get DFS to connect to the software. It turns out that the baud rate was set incorrectly on the COM port. In Device Manager, right-click on the COM port and select Properties. Click the Port Settings tab and set Bots per second to 38400. Data bits is 8, parity is none, stop bits is 1, flow control is none. Everything was fine later, but the speed was set to 9600. Hope this helps as logging is great!

Great sensor, but the lack of continuous data logging makes it unsuitable for our application.

We purchased this through my company so I will not appear as a verified buyer. The device is actually quite good and works well. My problem with this is the description and feedback on data logging. They are very deceptive. This device shows the force value in real time, and later you can export the graph as an image file, which is useless for further processing. However, we could not find a way to continuously log/save data after a certain time interval. Instead, to collect discrete data…
