Must be for mini upstream

Got this for my r53 mini as it is OEM and was told it should be for the r53 upstream sensor NGK/NTK because other brands have this for some reason do not do. jive with ECU/motor (although I'm sure DENSO will as they are better quality). It was perfect, the packaging was great. Don't be afraid to get this sensor and get it from Revain because it's about $30 cheaper than anywhere else.

  • Great range

NGK/NTK o2> Bosch o2

Service light on. Read the code and it was the oxygen sensor. I went into the auto zone and took the Bosch O2 sensor (above). Plug and play but the service light was still on. The tension didn't waver. I read several forums and several people had the same problem. Recommended NGK/NTK. Got a new sensor, replaced the Bosch sensor, the voltage fluctuated and the service light went out. 😎

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • No engine

It's a big stupid waste of time

Revain indicates Made in China; The packaging says Made in Japan. The NTK manual lists various torque settings; or 1/2 turn or 1 turn by hand depending on whether the probe is M18 Zirconia or M12 Titanium. The problem is that there is no information anywhere about what 25648 is; on the box, on the sensor, or it says Revain. Who knows. This is a big stupid waste of time; Who is the ignoramus writing these sheets? However typical.

  • Fits many

  • Something's wrong

Worked great on my 2005 Mini Cooper S

Super excited I was able to install this myself instead of taking the car to the dealer! However, be aware (on the Mini Cooper at least) that while technically easy to install and should take around 15 minutes, taking the old one out can be tricky. It took several hours to figure out how to get at the old sensor and have enough elbow room to get the sensor out. The car got noticeably better and after a few hundred kilometers there were no warning lights.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Updates

So far so good on parts

Well I was mad at Bosch because my O2 sensor from them started resetting the code right after the 1 year warranty expired but when I ordered this and for the fitment went, I noticed something. The cable on my old one broke. So I was willing to badmouth Bosch and would highly recommend this one, but for now I'll just say I've had it for about 2 months now and it seems to be working fine. Durability is an important part with these things, so I can't say much until they're gone, but so far so…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Weak kit

If you have a '03 MINI, get this gauge!

I've tried replacing the ACDelco and Bosch O2 pre-coil replacement sensors and still got the pesky code P0130. I looked closely at the original sensor and found it was NTK. The code has not been returned since this sensor was installed. It's an exact replacement, but since it's not marked "MINI" it's a little cheaper than the MINI sensor. Even NTK assured me that this sensor is completely identical to the original sensor (I called their support team to verify). If you have a 2003 MINI Cooper…

in the fork doesn't match the factory fork on the car, and 2) after just a few weeks the resistance builds up and the dreaded heater circuit trouble code reappears. Then I tried the $80 BOSCH replacement, it is VERY large and cannot be installed as a rear sensor in the exhaust tunnel. Finally I tried the NTK which still has the cost of the OEM part. The seller's pictures showed the correct fins in the connector so I already knew it would fit. When I checked the resistance it turned out to be an
