Good stuff Good for spark plugs and wires

I've read that counterfeit or counterfeit spark plugs are ubiquitous but turns out they were genuine NGK with the right markings and quality materials. They have been in my Audi for three weeks without any problems.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Zero

Good spark plugs are best in spark plugs

It's hard to say anything bad about NGK. I bought these to replace colder plugs that didn't work really well in my '08 GTI. They gaped great, were easy to install and made me happy to finally regain some of the performance that was lost with my old spark plugs.

Top spark plugs

Excellent connectors. I have been using NGK spark plugs for many years and have never had any problems with them. Just make sure you check the clearance on ALL. I've never had a connector from any brand that mated properly to the spec it should be on the box including NGK.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

incorrect distance

installed in our 2012 Q5. The car shook, vibrated and did not accelerate properly. then the CEL came on and started flashing. sluggish. pulled them out and the gap on each was MUCH over the limit, almost double the tolerance and they were all different, no wonder he was talking about misfiring on all 4 cylinders. Set the gap correctly and the car will now drive normally again.

Pros
  • best niche
Cons
  • quality

No pre-release, no sequential release.

No I did not expect them to have protrusions as there is no such statement in the product information provided here. However, the opinions of many posters on the online forums I've read suggest otherwise. Anyway, I was very surprised that in this box of four, one connector was slightly "right" for my application at about 0.031 while the other three were at or above 0.040. I only mention it here to advise everyone to have their ripping tool ready. Otherwise there is nothing more to say about…

Spark Plug Condition: Parts

Installed a second set of NGK Laser Platinum PFR7S8EG on a 2015 Audi allroad (US spec 2.0 TFSI CPMB engine) with 60,000 miles (37,000 miles with this last set of spark plugs). Always use Motul X-Cess 8100 oil and 93 octane Shell petrol (along with a can of Seafoam, Marvel Mystery Oil or Starbrite Startron fuel additive from time to time). The car mostly has motorway kilometers. The heat range on the side electrode was correct, the center electrode color and condition was normal, and the main…
