Has a very strong chemical smell I think fabulous cleaning solution. I washed it 5 times but the smell stayed. I do not recommend.

When you just need a little water for your exercise bike, almost any bottle will do. But when you want to pack a sticky energy drink and keep it off your bike frame during a long, bumpy ride, this is what you need. Otherwise it's just a standard bottle - fits comfortably in standard cages, dishwasher safe etc.

No leaks or bad taste Has a nice slightly soft feel in the hand which makes it less likely to pick up the bottle during use mishandling ride. The only downside is that you can't empty the bottle without removing the cap as the cap has some indentations that prevent the last tablespoon or so from coming out of the teat.

My mountain bike's frame is close to the stem and fits perfectly. The bottom is made in the USA so I'm confident there are no toxic chemicals in it. Flexible plastic may have a bad taste, but this one doesn't. I looked at many other bottles, settled on this one and was happy with it. Now I will go to the future.

A frequent cyclist in Arizona who uses drink mix/water bottles has still not stained these new bottles. He's very pleased that while these bottles are a bit larger and offer a few more ounces, the size still fits very nicely into the seatpost and downtube bottle cages. Recently (September 2019) I watched one of the riders at the Road World Championships with the same bottles! :)
