Mini artists should be avoided, they can't hold the point

Okay, they've got a lot of paint in their stomachs, but they can't hold the point to save their lives. Anything greater than 1 is useless for exactly this reason: one dash and it breaks into about 40 different threads. Also, they're too soft to work with fine detail, and smaller sizes like 2/0 and below always have one or two random bristles that are longer than the others. For that money I should have just taken 1 and 0 winsor #7 or Raphael.

Bent brush wasted after one use

Bought these months before I needed it and when I needed it what a disappointment. I like the ergonomics, but the brushes themselves are not of very good quality. The #2 brush I needed for the project was bent at an angle, and the three brushes I've used so far lost their shape after a day of very light use (look at the picture, don't like at all the Kolinksy marten brush ). should pay attention after one-time care). They may be fine for young children or someone with normal needs, but not for…

However, I had high hopes.

I had high hopes when I saw Kolinsky's detailed brushes. As a watercolor artist, I like working with natural brushes because they hold more water and pigment, and it would be great to have a detail brush that lasts a lot for its size. Unfortunately, they did not show the expected results. When I tested them on Arches 140# paper, I was usually only able to draw a few inches before the ink started bleeding or just faded. Compared to a similarly sized inexpensive taklon brush I had, the cheap…
