Bottom ball joint does not fit

I have all the parts needed but the bottom ball joints do not fit my 2002 Ranger XLT 2WD as stated by the seller. I was able to push in new pegs, but they don't have a rim that presses against the underside of the forearm. This rim is about 3/16" thick, and since there is none, the castle nut can be tightened well over the cotter pin hole, rendering the cotter pin useless and the ball joints useless. All the work they've done to figure this out is awful. I compared the original to a new one…
