If you want to use it on a hole that sticks deep like the 1990's heavy F-Series, take a nut and thread grind, to get the radius you need in the pipe. Be patient for this price. sanding down

Useless tool. I spent half an hour removing a regular GM hole and it didn't hook up enough to hold it in place. I ended up using pliers to remove the pipe. Tried to install the tool on the old hole. If one side was affected, the other side would slide off.

This is not the fault of the product. It looks like it would fit most vehicles but not Ford. Turns out they made a longer custom tool for Ford. The threads on this product sink into the coolant line before engaging the extraction tabs.

I was able to easily remove the gas pipe in my GM vehicle. The product is well made and I'm sure it will last for many years. Here you can use 2 different positions. Figured out which was better by simply inserting the tool into the AC line and feeling it squeeze the office tube tighter. Don't try to pull it out by hand. Use a nut to apply even and constant pressure to avoid damaging the small plastic tabs on the orifice tube.
