Like reuniting with an old friend after a long breakup.

Like many others I feel the fit is a little small out of the box but with more than enough cushioning throughout the shoe I think they will be perfect when fully broken in. I was pleasantly surprised to hear these shoes are back in stock. For me the perfect everyday shoe for driving. NIKE, please carry on.

Exactly what I was looking for.

This is exactly what I needed. And the heel of the boot jumps a bit, but I think that will go away with time. Good shoes. If I have to say something negative, it will generally be okay. The shoes I thought I would get were all white. But when they showed it was sent, it was white with a black tick. And I was annoyed about it at first, but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. And when I opened it, I was glad I hadn't said anything. They exist. Looks good, feels good, fits good.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Reliability

I bought this series to replace the discontinued white leather Nike REAX Revolution sneakers. The Cortez shoes I received appear to be almost defective; The shape of the shoe is too narrow at the front. It conforms to the shape of the human foot, which negates the foot's natural function in weight distribution and physical propulsion. Because the design is so far removed from the actual foot, this shoe is not recommended for anyone looking for an active walking, running, or training shoe.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Classic look and fit - quality ain't what it used to be

I've been wearing NOTHING but Nike Cortez everyday for over a decade. I get a new pair about every 10 months, at least that's how it used to be. I've had about 15 pairs of these sneakers over the past 12 years. The last pair looked and fit as expected but didn't wear very well over time. The leather tears pretty easily and the soles seem to wear out quicker than they used to. That being said, I'm a creature of habit and I like the look of the Cortez. They go well with jeans or shorts and lookโ€ฆ

Love my nike classic cortez

This review is long overdue! Fits as expected. I don't use it for work! I had an all white classic Cortez 15 years ago when I was in college until the skin came off and I threw it away. I bought the second one from Nike 7 years ago for only 2 years, I used it when I went to the beach in California. Fool, I washed it with bleach and ruined the shoes. So this is my third classic Cortez, I bought a size 7.5 for men because I have a size 8 for women. The classic white Cortez is no longer on theโ€ฆ

Old school at its best!

One of my absolute favorite shoes from the early 80's growing up with Adidas superstars and suede pumas. My mom bought me some of these when I was growing up because I loved them so much but these don't look identical to the ones from the 70's and 80's, they used to look a lot better, the hard sole looked rougher and even the whole bottom sole was thicker and if you compare their photos with the vintage models, the nike swoosh logo on the side of the sneaker looked much better, these new models
