The switch works well and fits perfectly in my dash panel (Arctic Cat HDX). Also, it was easy to install. Only criticism is that the light only comes on when the switch is pressed. I think it would make more sense if it was on all the time or only when the headlights are on. I would think the point of the light is such that in the dark I don't accidentally pull the winch the wrong way or flip a different switch instead.

I liked this switch at first. It was easy to plug in and just clip into my dash in the hole I cut. I hooked it up to the winch control box as suggested. During the test run after completion, it worked perfectly. The first two times I had to use the winch, it worked fine. Then, without warning, it stopped working altogether. I had to wrap the winch cable around the front bumper as it wouldn't turn on. Luckily I had a hardwired backup controller under the hood.

The switch that came with my new winch won't let me install it on my side-by-side's dashboard. This switch offers a good custom fit. There is no mounting template included so I had to take some measurements and cut a rectangular hole in the dashboard. Once I properly sized the hole, the switch clicked and locked into place. Installed this switch and it worked as expected but the LEDs didn't work. Try to figure out how to contact the seller to get a replacement as this should be under warranty. I will change my rating from one star to five when the seller comes along. Update: Pulled the switch and made a new jumper harness to get the LED lights to work. Well made rocket switch. First, throw away the instructions on how to hook it up and hook it up in a way that's actually useful. Everyone buys them thinking they don't glow properly because they use them like the instructions say. Switches have multiple connection methods so they work depending on the conditions you want.
