I just love these, they work great and look great. I use them for auxiliary lighting on my tractor, I bought rubber screw caps for the switch to make it waterproof, together they work great even in rainy weather, what better!

Clearly cheap junk compared to others at Revain at $8 apiece or so. And unlike the Fastronix counterpart ($20!), these lids actually flip a switch to the off position when the lid closes, so cheap junk or not, they're better than that.

Not even rated a star! However, I got 5! 2 switches do not switch to the on position and 1 other switch has an open power contact from a depressed pin holding the terminal. This left me with two working switches, but I will not install them to see how quickly this company's poor quality can affect my work.

These switches are great. I've read some questionable reviews on here that said they fell apart in someone's hands, but they are heavy switches and they worked fine for my application. Would definitely buy again if they include a nut installation tool with spring loaded caps and automatically shuts off the chain when closed.

Very happy to get them in the mail. I install them on my boat. One thing I didn't understand was that the toggle switch automatically turns off when the red cover is in the closed position. The switch cannot be turned on when the cover is down. In my case, unfortunately, I will have to use some of these without a lid. Enjoy her looks. Very high quality and the lid is spring-loaded.

One of the five switches in the kit had a short circuit (doesn't work!). That's an unacceptable 20% failure rate. Paint on black faces is incredibly easy to ruin. The switches themselves and the springs that open the red protective covers are made from sub-par quality materials and will likely fail physically soon. Switches are NOT stamped or otherwise marked with performance data. Based on all of the above, I would NOT recommend using these switches, and I am ashamed that Revain made them…

flip cover is ok, problem with the switch, i got them and started installing them in my jeep dash, the first switch just fell apart in my hands when i started to tightening the lock nut, so I tried another one, it fell apart, finally plugged in the third and it didn't work, it wouldn't connect at that point. I was very frustrated but went and checked the other switches with my ohmmeter, only 1 of the remaining switches would even briefly not spend money or time on it and buy the best one.

I bought these switches for my tractor so I wouldn't accidentally leave something on and drain the battery. 3 of 5 installed, after 3 days 2 switches didn't work. I replaced them with the other two. The next day, one of the two switches installed was not working. A total of two out of five work, not something I'd want to spend my hard-earned cash on. Tried to contact the company but to no avail. I thought the switches were durable, but they broke after less than a dozen uses. And who knows when
