No guide or diagram, frustrating for first time user, please report. Installation failed because it was the wrong part.

I was trying to get this carb to work on a 1977 Yamaha ET 250. It seems to be running too rich, but I can't consistently accelerate when idling. When I pull the spark plug it is always wet no matter how I install the injectors. Fast delivery and good price, just wish there were instructions.

The workmanship on this carburettor was quite poor. I never locked it as the clasp didn't move smoothly at all. Look at the photos and you will see that there are horrible scratches in the slide area and they were on the slide itself. I can't tell how it would have worked because I couldn't tell based on the condition it arrived in , never messed up.

Purchased for Arctic Cat snowmobiles from the 80's. I rebuilt the original carburetor but still had trouble starting the slide hot. No matter how I adjusted, the original carb slide behaved unpredictably. Replaced the card with this one. The sled runs great now. I wish I could do it right away, it would save me hours trying to figure out what's wrong with the sled.
