I was intrigued by this pan when I saw you can cook and drain pasta in it, but turns out it is really not practical. You get too little water for the pasta to cook, and it just does not work. But it works as a regular pan and it works as a teamer, too. There is somewhat less than an inch of space under the steamer, so it wouldn't work for two layer meals, but it is a flat pan, what would you expect.It does work on induction stove.
