It's hard and magnetic and while everyone on the Nintendo Switch product page complained about broken screws, I didn't have that problem, presumably because I was using that screwdriver.

This tri wing wing was not a tri wing as described. It was a Philips head. He started loosening the screws on my Joy-Con so I took a closer look and it was a cross section. On the handle was a picture of a three-wing.

I received this product and was disappointed to find that it was not a triwing screwdriver, although the packaging and the screwdriver itself said they were in fact Phillips screwdrivers.

I used this to replace joycon controller cases. It wasn't magnetized which would have made the job a lot easier, but this single tool saved me from having to pay 2-3x more for a ridiculous set of bits I never used.

This is NOT a switch and using it will just rip off the screws. I have a broken joycon and need to figure out how to get new screws and also remove the broken ones. Don't repeat the same mistake, look elsewhere!

Well designed, works great. I was a freelance apprentice mechanic on US Navy ships and I know the tools. This is a reliable tool with a very strong/hardened tip that gets the job done. This is necessary when working with this type of screw head. A great addition to any tool box.

While the name of this useful little screwdriver might suggest that it's compatible with Nintendo, I think it's also worth emphasizing that a three-headed screwdriver of this size is also a necessary component for iPhone battery repair. I am happy that I can now replace the battery for family and friends in the future as I have successfully replaced my own battery thanks to the purchase of this screwdriver which was missing from my battery pack. I had a joycon that started to drift even after running the calibration settings. Initially I tried to open the joycon with a flat head screwdriver but couldn't turn the screw. This screwdriver matched Joycon's tri-wing screw perfectly and even worked on a screw that had partially snapped off when I tried to use a flathead screwdriver.
