I had a previous system on my other phone that required me to glue a metal ring to the case. I loved it but when I got my new phone I didn't want to mount it on my phone anymore so I bought this mounting system to use the pole that was already in my car. The thing works great. Easy to use! I had a magnet attached directly to my phone which was fine too, but the magnet was starting to wear out. This was the perfect solution and an alternative to attaching the magnet directly to my phone! It stays firmly on the mount while being so easy to move around. It was a great purchase!

I have bought almost every type of phone holder for my cars including other Nite Ize products. This is by far the best I've ever used. It keeps my phone safe. The Steele magnetic mount simplifies positioning for optimal visibility. The only other holder that is better is the ProClip, but they are much more expensive and require a specific mount for each car. For a reasonable price you can get Nite Ize.

This new squeeze clip is a great addition to the Steelie line. with integrated magnet, air vent mounts, windshield mounts, etc.), the latest of which is the Freemount clamp. So this is my first order in this style and I am very happy with the whole system. I have one of the dash ball mounts, I have one of these and one of the other compression style clips. I don't think I'll ever move away from those bonds. I use a different type of mount for almost everything. When I'm watching a cooking video, I clip my phone in and clip it to the hood. On my desktop, I can attach my phone to a lamp, a vise, or whatever. Great system.

I love this thing but I didn't use it for its intended purpose. I actually modified it by cutting off the gray temples where they weren't visible, removing the styles magnet on the back and turning it into a general purpose holster with whatever attachment system on the back I wanted. So I'm very grateful to Nite Ize for making this main component, but setting it up allows me to use a versatile and compact mounting system and easily remove the phone for wireless charging. For years I've had popsockets on my phones and they got in the way. I had a popsocket mount for a car but wanted something that didn't require it. I saw this and decided to give it a try. Works like clockwork. The only thing I don't like is placing the phone in the right place. Too low and leans forward, too high and leans back. Doesn't come with the steel ball mount I was hoping for (I already had one installed in my car so not too much of a hassle). Frees hands while driving Easier.
