Awesome Stuff - Carriers & Travel Products

Until someone figures out how to build steps with a stabilizer on each side, they won't become "stable" from a dog's point of view. I love them and the scissor effect of the stairs makes them a safe bet; However, my dog will not go beyond the first step. I will be exercising more and as for these steps I would recommend them. Easy to open, store and carry, light weight (disabled woman), the fabric on the stairs is not smooth, looks good. I pulled mine all the way out on the back of the X-Terra.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ

These are the best dog steps! Lightweight and durable.

These steps can be used fully extended as shown in this image. Our old gold had no problem with that. She also surprisingly doesn't try to jump around them and go down. They are super light. The tailgate of our Ford Ranger does not open fully. The upper steps go a little under the door. We only protect them where we place them. We had no issues with slipping, but we were able to easily add a safety hook to attach to the one that came with the kit. Good texture for paw grip. These steps need toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good Cause
Cons
  • Crumpled Package

We bought these stairs for our 12 year old Golden Retriever to climb into our Silverado because she couldn't jump in anymore and was too heavy to do it easily to lift . With a little practice, the steps worked well. You have to make sure the steps are fully extended or they won't feel tight. Our truck has a crew cab and the rear doors do not open far enough for the steps to be fully attached to the edge of the body. There is no good solution to the problem without making the steps narrowerโ€ฆ
