DOT/UN Approved No-Spill 6160 Replacement Cap for 5 Gallon Can - Mess-Free and Reliable Review

FYI this is a complete cap. Worked great for using my tank on my snow bike and not having to worry about the attachment breaking.

Nice cap, works well. I figured I could take the nozzle off my broken cap and put it on the new cap. I couldn't figure it out and No Spill didn't reply to my email.

Replaced all my gas cartridges without spilling. Hands down the best gas cylinder you can buy. This cap works great for bringing gas home to fill my smaller jerry cans. Not that I've had any trouble licking something out of a regular spout. But better safe than sorry.

Leaky Caps. Anywhere in my car. Try to take out the white part and put it in the opening of the jar. They do not fit together. The O-ring doesn't even touch the inside of the lip like spouts do. Really freaked out. Since I can close the glass without a spout, I actually bought 7 glasses.

ordered 7 caps, tried one and it leaked, tried two more and they leaked too. All caps have been tested on multiple 5 gallon model 1450 leakproof gas cartridges. All caps have been returned. Also tried 1 cap ordered direct from No-Spill and it leaked too. The original gas cylinder nozzles work perfectly and do not leak, so there were no problems with the gas cylinders. Wouldn't order these again.

I used the o-ring from the spout to prevent leakage. Now I need to find replacement spout O-rings to fix the defect. It certainly can't be approved by the DOT if it's leaking. I'm waiting for the seller to tell me if it should have an o-ring. I contacted the seller and he sent a new replacement cap with o-ring. Alternatively, I took the lid to Ace Hardware and found a matching o-ring for 65 cents. All is well.

This lid is perfect for my 2018 5 gallon cans with no spills and it's a good solid lid that slides out when needed. It has a brown o-ring just like the original nozzle that comes on the can. I drilled out this connector and installed a bulkhead fitting so I could connect the brass nipples and gas hoses on either side. I use this with my two Honda eu2200 alternators so I can just unscrew the cap on an empty one and pop in a full 5 gallon can in about 30 seconds. This allows me to run my…

Didn't actually receive them, I canceled and bought them elsewhere but they are the same. Revain may remove this review if it chooses to do so. I never use a nozzle on my glasses, that's all I really need and they work perfectly. Fits perfectly and doesn't leak. They only say for 5 gallon cans I don't know why maybe the law or something but they fit 2.5 gallon cans and they don't leak. I think they are made by the company that made the cans so they work fine. If they are leaking, just know that
