Non-Slip Rug Pad For Vinyl & Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Flooring - RUGPADUSA 4'X6' Felt And EVA Vinyl Lock Review

This is our 2nd Purchase of the EVA/Felt backing rug pad for LVP floors and it works extremely well. The rug stays in place with no movement, and with the felt backing doesn’t damage our floors. So for both ‘hardwood” floors and "adhesion” it gets 5 stars. As for "softness” it gets 3 stars. It is only a 1/4” thick and really isn’t designed for softness, so it gets 3 stars for that category. Overall, well worth it for the job it’s intended for and I would highly recommend this rug pad.

Perfect rug pad for entryway carpet. Very thick. The pad needed to be trimmed 2” on the width and 12” on the length (to fit under our carpet) which we did with a utility knife. Would recommend.

I purchased this pad when placing an area rug onto my new LVT floors. I wanted a product that wouldn't harm the LVT and would stabilize the area rug so tripping wouldn't be an issue. This is the product! No wrinkles in the pad or the area rug that was placed on top. Tripping isn't a worry. I loved it so much that I purchased a second one for under the dining room table. No issues with chairs moving in and out. This was above my expectations.

I installed luxury vinyl planking recently, so I had to replace my silicon pads under my rugs. This new pad is compatible with my planking. It also adds a nice cushy feel when I walk on the rugs. Finally, the rugs dont walk across the floor as they had a habit of doing with the old pads. I am more than pleased with the new pads! I wish I had found them earlier.

The rug pad from RUGPADUSA is excellent! We have new LVT flooring and you can’t use just any rug pad. I appreciate that this rug pad is designed to be used with LVT. It has to be cut, but it is very easy. We used the excess for other small rugs. Highly recommend!

I ordered a 2x3 pad for an entry rug I have of the same size. The pad that arrived was about an inch longer length wise. I attempted to trim it but couldn’t get the razor to cut through it. Also, the carpet does not adhere well to the pad. The pad does stay put on the flooring, but the carpet still slides around off of the pad. Not worth the price imo.

Cuts to size best using shape blade like box cutter, scissors work ok on smaller sizes. Smaller rugs still slide on pad but larger carpet like 8 x 10 sits ok.

I've only just received the pads and they look great they rolled out well but it will take time to know if it's true that they don't stay in the vinyl plank floors that's the reason I got them 😃

These rug pads keep all our runners in place. They’ve passed the "dogs running down the hall” test hahaha. They literally don’t budge. Plus, they add JUST the right amount of cushioning to make the runners look solid and feel a hint more plush. I cannot tell that they’re there visually. I’m so glad I found LVP-safe non-slip rug pads. It’s a real game changer.

I order this rug pad for an 8x10 rug based on positive reviews. Unfortunately, after receiving the item, I didn’t open right away as was waiting for a renovation to finish. Upon opening it looked like a square rather than 8x10. So I measured and sure enough, the pad was exactly 8x8. Why? I have no idea. I tried to contact for a return or exchange but was told it was too late. Great customer service! Not! Order from a different manufacturer. Didn’t even offer my the opportunity to exchange…

In the past we ordered custom size, vinyl floor safe, no-slip rug pads from RugPadUSA. That is what I intended to order but they are out of stock. This must be the new style. It is more substantial than the previous RugPadUSA design, plus it has some padding. It works great and as a bonus there is some cushioning. The only disadvantage is you can't order custom size. So I had to cut off 3 ft. of the pad.

Pad works great under our runner that we recently purchased - rug feels very secure while walking on it. Great product! That's my review.

I've ordered 3 rug pads directly from RugPadUSA's website as they were recommended by the manufacturer of our LVP flooring. I love them. This product is replacing another product(which I loved) and only available through ebay at this time. I was very disappointed that the pad wasn't cut down to fit under a 2'x3' rug. It's actually wider than 2' and longer than 3'. I don't mind having to cut it down, I was expecting it to be precut like the pads purchased from the website.

The pads are good quality but they do not stay in place on my floors. I have to move the pads/rugs back into place multiple times each day. I appreciate that they will not harm my new LVP floors but they are advertised to hold my rugs in place….which they don’t. Yes, the rug stays pretty well on the pad but the pad itself doesn’t stay in place.Edit….the rugs don’t stay on the pad very well either. Very disappointed.

I needed a pad that is safe for Luxury vinyl plank flooring. This worked well under our jute rug. The pad has two different textures, one side that grips the floor and one side that is rough and snags (not in a bad way) onto the rug so that the rug sticks to it. It keeps everything in place. I will probably be purchasing another in the near future.

We put down luxury vinyl flooring throughout our new, one story home. The flooring provider recommended RugPadUSA with either EcoPlush or their newest brand Vinyl for smaller rugs. Love them. Use the ½ inch for larger rugs, ⅜ for medium hallway. Love them!

Bought this because told needed for our new plank flooring. Hope so. Much more expensive than the other rug pads that we had purchased & now replaced.

RUGPADUSA Vinyl Lock is an excellent nonskid pad for use under a rug. The thickness is low enough not to cause a trip hazard but tick enough to add a bit of cushion. It came folded in half and rolled up but was not a problem as it flattened easily. Cutting to size was easily accomplished with upholstery scissors and there was no odor. This is the real deal, we love it!

I wasn’t expecting the surface on the top-side (the side that you lay the rug on) to be scratchy like super course sandpaper. I’m so glad it is! I have zero slippage with my wool/poly mix rug. Unpacked and, to my glee, it did not have a stinky smell. And it’s pretty light weight. And it came larger than the actual rug, which made sizing it EXACTLY how I needed it easy peasy with some scissors. My 8x10' rug is low pile, so this really helps! I wouldn’t say this pad super squishy by any means - I

This was one of the only pads I could find that is safe to use on LVP flooring AND non slip. I put a thin washable 8’x10’ rug over it and the rug stays completely flat, the corners don’t come up at all and it doesn’t move whatsoever, very pleased!
