Not as good as Presto Electric Smoker

This kettle smoker does not work as well as the Presto electric smoker which was recalled due to some electrical issues. The Presto could be cold smoked and the smoke lasted longer, it was digitally heated and also tenderized the meat. A red kettle on the stovetop is fine, but you need to keep an eye on your stovetop temperature at all times. It doesn't smoke for long either and does smoke a lot from under the lid and bottom of the kettle, but I use strips of foil to seal it better. The problem

Holy crap. Buy this smoker now!

We live in a shared apartment and would like to become full-fledged smokers, but we don't have the opportunity to do so. Enter this little guy. We were skeptical but we were stuck in quarantine at home cooking all sorts of things so thought it might be worth a try. THIS SMALL CAPITAL WORKS GREAT! The BEST $80 we've ever spent! When we first used it for ribs, we got better ribs than any restaurant outside of the true South. We're smoking brisket right now and it smells so good I want to take it…

Smoked meat with smoker

I can only say WOW! What great results! I wanted a smoker, but I didn't want to pay $5,000 for the one I want right now (ed.). Stumbled upon this cauldron smoker and got curious but still very skeptical. I decided to purchase after seeing Adriana in Philly Kitchen making some recipes. It's one of those things that makes you feel bloated, but I've followed her methods for ribs (I've made babybacks or spare ribs instead) and I'm surprised. The ribs are tender, juicy and taste great. They have…

Not bad, but the result is more like steamed meat with a smoky flavor.

Not a bad smoker. You won't get browned, fried, or smoked results. The food is more like stewed meat etc with a slight smoky flavor. Tried Salmon - Results were better after fish was cold rather than hot. The brisket wasn't very tasty - gives a smoky flavor but you need to additionally cook it brown and tender - maybe smoke it, then roll in the oven for a few more hours, then brown at a higher temperature. Spent $80 on a smoker and another $30 on an extension. Probably not worth that amount…

I do not recommend this smoker for an induction cooker

In general I like this smoker. It is easy to use and gives a good result on the BBQ grill. I cooked smoked salmon twice and chicken breast once and the taste was very good. It's just as good as pellets or an offset smoker. NO. This is an economical solution to stovetop smoking. It depends. I've tried using it on an induction hob twice. I tried making smoked salmon for the first time. The result was a lightly smoked salmon exactly as directed; However, I later noticed that the paint from the…

1 in 1 smoke flavor with some limitations

Summary: This smoker almost replaces a normal outdoor unit. However, this cooking method requires a unique strategy (probably more relevant for glass cooker users). Some parts will rust after the second use after normal washing and air drying. 3 months later impression: smoking is great, but not for cooking. After 1 too many frustrating pork shoulders and brisket I decided to switch things up. I have a Ninja pressure cooker that I use to pre-cook meat that I then smoke on Nordic for 30 minutes.
