I was able to install this gate within 30 minutes of opening the box. I spent more time collecting tools than actually installing them. Drill with a drill and a Phillips screwdriver. The gate is assembled in one piece so nothing needs to be assembled other than fixing it to the wall. He is well built and strong. OK Just finished installing the gate. It was much more difficult and longer than a standard gate as these gates can be completely detached from the wall and raised with a push of a button at each end.
