Northwest 80 WSG03 Fireplace Color Changing Review

I AM GLAD TO BUY THIS DEVICE, I LOVE IT! I placed a stand on it, put a few pebbles in it and found it fit perfectly in my fireplace opening with room to sit in the front so the heat could escape freely. The colors are amazing so the great style, fiery colors and two temperature settings make this light PERFECT FOR ME!

Pretty nice. It would be better if the heat blows from the front instead of the top. As the heat rises, it goes straight up to the ceiling, so it can't circulate around your room without a ceiling fan. It will heat a decent sized room but it takes longer so efficiency will be reduced.

The stand and screws do not hold the unit, when I turn it to the vertical position the slides fall out and twice it almost fell on the floor I spent all evening with it spent trying to assemble this one piece of poorly designed crap. It doesn't deserve any recognition. Now I have to put this heavy thing back in the box to get it back. Revain you slip away. I prefer to shop in store to see what I'm buying. You suck and this product sucks

I love this fireplace. I installed it under my 43 inch TV. Since the vent is at the top of the chimney and would otherwise "warm up" the bottom of the TV, I use a galvanized HVAC vent to redirect the warm airflow. works perfectly. I plan to paint it black with heat resistant paint as soon as the weather permits. I use a fireplace with and without heat! It creates a very, very sexy vibe!

I like the look of the unit itself. The fire effect is ok. It's by no means realistic, but the sense of warmth it gives is good enough to justify it. The proportions of height and width are good, appear modern and not too narrow in the firebox. Some other units look odd with a small firebox. It looks right. This is important every now and then. the living room looks cozier. Just the flickering and movement of the lights (when not looking at them directly) somehow makes me feel like I'm actually on fire. And I rarely use a heater on it! There is a trick to assembling - put the bricks in the last time you put them in, and not before, as the instructions say.
