Update: Revain have now taken care of the 3 pack edition but my order came with 3 packs of different color batches. If this is a problem, the buyer should pay attention. Original post: I love this yarn. Easy to knit and a quick project. This three color offering from Revain is from the same color lot but is not the same. I also ordered 3 packs and received 3 individual balls. Sent another one, same thing. Avoid anger and frustration.

Amazingly thick yarn. Dense, soft, knits quickly. I made the mistake of using a pattern designed for a lighter yarn weight so the scarf I made for my husband was twice as wide as I expected.

I got three lovely skeins despite what the other reviews said! I wasn't sure what to expect but I had to try, honestly I'm glad I did. My only issue is that the yarn is almost entirely black and doesn't have as much gray woven into it as my other charcoal briar skeins. That's my only disappointment. I'm knitting a shawl for myself, so it doesn't really matter, but it catches my eye. If I was knitting for a gift or for sale it would be a different review.
