I bought this to supercharge retro cuteness, ignoring other reviews that said one day it just stopped working. PBP. He had a timer that was supposed to kill him on day 63.

A power outage killed my old Sunbeam so I decided to give my coffee corner a complete makeover. I love the color and style of this coffee maker. It brews quickly, prepares a delicious cup and keeps the coffee hot for a long time. It's easy to program and the clock creates a soft night light. The lid can be opened quite high, I had to set the hanging basket higher. Good thing I don't want to use it under a cupboard, that would be impractical.

I bought this item because they advertised 'New and Improved'. Note that previous reviews have not been favorable. Worked well the first day. The second day doesn't work at all. Although the power light was on, the water was not heating and the hot plate was not working. Maybe I got a bad one, but I will think again about buying this product. I have to say this is the first item I have ever had to return to Amazon and the customer service has been great.

It was a great pot for about a month. I cleaned it weekly with vinegar but that didn't stop it from breaking. We also don't have hard water so I don't understand. I paid about $60 for this pot and the ones I bought for less than half the price lasted longer. You pay for looks, not functionality. Don't waste money. You have a Mr. Coffee in the same color for $25 at your local Walmart or Revain.

Do not buy! After just 30 days when you could return it to Revain, the coffee maker stopped brewing. He heated the water, but after 30 minutes the coffee was almost not brewed. A lot of steam comes at the top, drips a little for about 10 seconds and then stops. Used distilled water as directed, although I never had to with my old Mr. Coffee. Coffee making can drive you crazy if you are a coffee drinker and want a good cup in the morning. I've tried them all, even the French Press. Everyone has their own problems and shortcomings. I recently used a double wall Bodum irrigation.
