The color is more faded than I thought

I haven't used oven mitts yet. Was disappointed to see a faded color as the combination of blue and yellow can be very pretty.

Pros
  • 100% cotton
Cons
  • too boring

Looks good; Color is a bit disappointing

Nothing to say. This is a brand I have used in the past and really liked. The color is a little less vibrant than I was hoping (looks a bit washed out) which is disappointing. But the gloves are very good.

Pros
  • Easy to care for: these durable baking and cooking pot holders are easy to clean and stand up to everyday use. They have a quilted construction with insulation to keep the heat out. Machine washable
Cons
  • Hard to say

Very disappointed apron item

I've been using these mittens from NOW DESIGN for years and I absolutely love them. Unfortunately these 2 I recently bought were a total disappointment. They feel like cardboard. Difficult to fold to hold items. When I tried to grab the serving bowl to put it in the oven and then grab it to take it out, I was afraid the bowl would slip out of my mittens. Then I washed them, thinking they would lose their rigidity, but that didn't help. I have found other mittens that are much better and will…

Pros
  • Cotton oven mitts: protect your hands with these heat-resistant gloves! These fun and trendy oven mitts are perfect for oven baked desserts, dinners, hot pans and hot pots. With integrated hanging loop
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Love My Blue and Yellow Lemon Potholders

I like these pot holders as they are reminiscent of the 1950's and also go really well with the blue and white motif of the French country kitchen. I wasn't sure at first as the material seemed stiff, but once I used them they worked well - much better than the gloves I had previously used. Also, bright colors really lift my spirits. I bought a blue yellow lemon pattern πŸ‹. Colors are saturated, oil stains are not visible. In addition, they rise up the arm just enough to cover the wrists and…

Pros
  • A Set of Quilted Potholders: Includes two 100% cotton potholders filled with 100% polyester. They have a quilted design and can be worn on both sides
Cons
  • High Price

Nice gloves but almost zero heat resistance

The gloves look pretty good (I bought the pineapple) and I like that they are longer than normal so they protect your hand a bit more when you get deeper into your oven walk. In terms of comfort, they're quite stiff, although I've read that it gets better with time. The problem, however, is that they offer unacceptably low heat resistance: the first time I used them, I grabbed a baking sheet from the 400Β° oven and burned my hand almost immediately. I bake a lot and am used to taking this pan…

Pros
  • Imported
Cons
  • Annoying
