Got this for tacos al pastor. I'm happy to say it worked great. Very easy to use and clean. I cooked about 4 pounds of meat so lots of tacos.

Sorry I had to send it back. I couldn't get the chicken to stay on the tines. He fell further to the ground. Also, for the short time it was actually installed, the chick would constantly hit the inside of the cylinder, stopping it from spinning. It wasn't that big of a chicken.

I tried El Pastor tacos last year and loved the taste but finding a way to keep the tower of meat upright in the oven was a nightmare, they all fall off. I bought this specifically for this and I absolutely love it, it works amazing and tastes like tacos.

That's how I like it! I've been eyeing the Revain for a while and am looking for a vertical rotisserie that I can use to make middle eastern/authentic Arabic or Lebanese chicken shawarma and get the same flavor as local restaurants. So my verdict was that it was amazing and I loved it! See photos and judge for yourself!

So far so good. Decent size for a whole chicken but a bit small for a turkey. The chicken came out very well and the first cleaning wasn't a big problem. However, I will update this review once we use it and clean it up a few times. The manual may need an update as it doesn't talk about performance, just the timer. For example, the recipes to run don't mention the full or half power options.

I would not buy this product again. There are several problems: 1.) The heating element does not get hot enough to fully cook the chicken. I had chicken 4.5 and it didn't work. I'm not sure if this is just a product or mine is defective. The heating seems to be inconsistent. 2.) The pins are not strong enough to hold the chicken upright. 3.) The product is too big. This was my first time cooking in a vertical fryer and luckily my kids and family weren't in the kitchen preparing dinner when suddenly there was an explosion in the kitchen. What I liked the most were the recipes I came up with to use in this machine. What I hated the most was a piece of junk. When I took it out of the box I wasn't impressed. Thin thin metal. I cooked two dishes at this Nutrichef: a whole chicken and a pork loin. The results are incredible! Super tender, very juicy and fully cooked. It was very easy to cook. The trick is to make sure you don't use more than 5 pounds of meat for that particular unit, otherwise you'll have to keep an eye out for more as the pan will overflow and the meat/poultry will bind.
