Description of 🔥 Enhanced NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop Double 1800-watt: Unleash Fast, Safe, and Powerful Induction Cooking Technology with Advanced Cooking Functions

ADVANCED INDUCTION TECHNOLOGY – The 1800-watt NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop (PIC) Double made with a series of magnetic induction coils in the 8-inch cooking surface. These coils generate magnetic fields that produce a warming reaction in steel and iron-based pots and pans, producing heat directly in the cookware and less residual heat in your kitchen. PRECISE TEMPERATURE CONTROL – While other portable induction cooktops can only cook as low as 140°F or as high as 420°F, with the NuWave Cooktop, you can sear a gourmet steak at 575°F or keep sauces warm at 100°F, all with the same unit. Best of all, the intuitive digital temperature controls let you adjust the cooking temperature in 5° increments with the press of a button. SMART COOKING FEATURES – The portable 1800-watt PIC Double features 100 hours of memory that allows you to program your favorite cooking procedures. The PIC Double also boasts a delayed shutoff feature for added convenience. DOUBLE THE POWER – With two induction cooking surfaces in the same unit, the PIC Double gives you the convenience of a traditional stovetop but with the portability and precision you’ve come to know from NuWave. Now you can make complete meals all at once without compromise. Boil pasta at high heat on one side and simmer sauce at low heat on the other. With two control panels, you can independently adjust the settings on each side to suit your needs. SAFE & EFFICIENT – The PIC Double generates heat directly in the cookware itself, wasting virtually no energy while cooking your food and saving you money on your energy bill. By using no more than 1800 watts, the PIC conserves up to 90% of the energy wasted by traditional gas or electric stoves. And because the PIC Double doesn’t cook with any open flames or hot coils, the area around the cooktop remains cool. These safety measures greatly reduce the risk of fires and accidental burns.

There is only one area that gets hot and if you put a small saucepan on it, a large area will get hot without you noticing. Also, I have bad wiring in my apartment and it's set at 1500 watts by default and I have to remember to turn it back on to 600 watts every time. This is really a problem. I had 2 that were outdated and I decided this would be the best company. I was wrong but I have it now and it warms.

Temperature control is the best feature!

Love it! This is a replacement for the "Hand-to-Hand", which is already a few years old. It heats up quickly. The only heat generated is just the food in the pan. I would say the only downside to an induction cooktop is the need to buy cookware for it. It's so easy to control the heat. Start on a high temperature when you're cooking, turn it down to a lower temperature to keep it boiling and it will respond instantly! No need to wait for the burner to cool down (electric) or adjust the flame…

Four stars for small appliances

Seems to work well. He quickly boiled a large pot of water without heating the kitchen. This was my first review. So far I've been very happy with the temperature control and the fact that it doesn't heat up the kitchen as much as my gas burners and hob. Great when AC works. It's also a great addition to outdoor cooking during BBQ season (why waste charcoal or propane to boil water). he cooks all food well (not just water). The temperature range varies from very low to very high and remains…

I had to send mine back as it didn't meet my expectations.

I originally bought this product for my kettle. With the intention of creating a single purpose product that allows my water to get up to temperature and maintain it faster with less energy. While it excelled at heating up quickly, it didn't maintain a constant temperature well. The first day I set it to 175°F, which is what I wanted for green tea, after a few minutes the water was boiling, 212°F. I was understanding, I experimented with various lower temperatures; However, the results were…

Go For The Gold - NuWave PIC Induction Hob Model

PLEASE NOTE I have purchased the GOLD version of the NuWave PIC Induction Hob. This model is the same physical size as other NuWave cooktops but has a larger 8-inch induction surface. I first bought a NuWave PIC Plus device at a department store. The smaller 5 inch induction zone worked great with the included small frying pan. However, the Calphalon 12 inch 3-layer pan (suitable for induction according to Calphalon) did not deliver any usable results. It also turned out that the NuWave Plus…

Suitable for soup and noodles, but not for frying in a pan

I noticed uneven heating when frying in an iron pan. There is a round spot in the center that is cooler. The bacon started browning earlier on the edges than in the middle. This must result from the shape of the induction coil. A donut-shaped heating zone is created with a "hole” in the middle. I've noticed the same heat unevenness on a cast iron grill pan. It heats up quickly. The boiling water is very impressive. If you lower the temperature, it stops cooking almost immediately. Soup and…

Learning curve, but worth it.

I was skeptical at first. It sounded too good to be true. But now it's my favorite cooking utensil. Recently widowed, I've learned to minimize and adapt my cooking to my eating habits. Honestly, I hate cleaning and clutter, which is why I threw away a lot of old cookware that wasn't "induction-safe." Old gas burners are rarely used and I've found my kitchen to be a safe place to be. I was disappointed to find that the digital settings didn't match the actual cooking temperature. but it only…

Great product for small appliances

PIC Gold induction cooker as advertised. The water boils so fast I had to change my cooking method to keep up. It is very easy to clean and creates hot spots in the center of the pot, about 3" from the center (6" diameter). This is mitigated by the use of three-layer pans with good heat dissipation. the top of the pot or pan for about 90 sec. Cheaper pans, including some from Nu Wave, have a thin magnetic plate attached to the bottom of the pan and heat dissipation isn't as quick or complete…
