Mount, small, convenient, works great.

stumbled over a dog, broken knee, the doctor gave me an immobilizer, big, uncomfortable, brought after a long research. So happy, half the size, no slipping, keeps knee straight, 3 weeks to go, everything works, threw away the other one, great brace, great price, thanks thanks!

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • piggy bank price

The wide, comfortable foam sleeve barely touches when I pull it out and then tighten the strap, but it's too small! Would it really cost that much to make it an inch or two bigger? I wore it for a while but it was incredibly uncomfortable so I reverted to my cheaper non-immobilizing brace.

Pros
  • An absolute legend

Great Buy!: Knee Pads

This is a dream. I was in a long knee immobilizer for 3 LONG months after a bad ruptured patella with ORIF. I finally got permission to unlatch my braces but the bulkiness was too much. I spoke to my physical therapist, he agreed I could get a smaller orthosis with motion control. I've lost 4 inches of quadriceps, I need to recover. I increased the flex with ease and am now comfortable up to 45 degrees. The therapist examined the bandage and found it good. Fits well (check your measurements…

Best I've had in a hospital in the past

Please note that a lot of adjustment is required. There are a few pieces: a neoprene sleeve, two metal splints, and two (really strong!) Velcro straps holding everything together. I had to take everything apart to get it right. I am not a medical professional but have had to use knee braces a few times in the past. You want the metal splints to rest against the sides of your leg and the loop in the middle to be next to your knee joints. But once I got everything set up, it became a lot more…

Should have bought this sooner!

Diagnosis: fractured kneecap I was in a big bulky full leg immobilizer for 6 weeks. It was difficult to sit in a chair, impossible to drive a car. The fracture healed after 6 weeks. I was allowed to start bending and working out my knee to regain flexibility and leg muscles. I had to wear the immobilizer for support when not training. I was afraid to fit a large immobilizer and tried driving without it. Bad choice, the knee just wasn't ready. I sprained my knee and had to carry the bulky thing…

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • I don't like it that much, everything is fine

10/10 - GREAT BRACE

I'm really surprised more people don't know about this! Some background to think about: I am a 30 year old male. 5'10", 185 lbs. Very active lifestyle with a focus on cycling and soccer. Two weeks ago I tore the cruciate ligament in my right knee. I've torn the cruciate ligament on my left knee three times so I'm pretty good at the knee pad game. I did a lot of research because I was tired of wasting money on crappy braces. Several features of it caught my attention. Received it today and WOW…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

The first indication that this might be a problem was the instructions themselves. "Buckle the end of the belt to the knee surface of the knee" on WHAT? "then thread the other end through the buckle and finally attach the shoulder strap" shoulder strap on the knee orthosis, i think you mean the hip belt. Please someone correct the instructions! The instructions say you can place the hinges where you need them. At first glance, it looks like the hinges are pretty tightly attached to the sides in

Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Great for the price but not the best for preventing knee locks

It's hard to argue with a price like this. However, I bought a brace to prevent accidental locking of the knee and this brace prevents knee flexion much better than knee extension. I can casually lock my knee even on more draconian settings. It also fits me quite snugly, although I did pay attention to the size. I don't mind wearing it tight, but if this brace *almost* fits you, the velcro won't fully overlap, but will dig into your skin, and it's a pretty sharp velcro. *** Pros *** The price…
