Supplied without hard drive, 3TB surveillance grade hard drive purchased from Western Digital. It was easy to install and set up. It is highly recommended to change ALL default passwords on the NVR and cameras and to configure the VLAN on the router (if possible) to isolate the NVR from the rest of the network and prevent access to other computers. Don't buy this product with a hard drive in mind. YOU CANNOT INSTALL A HARD DISK INTO THIS DEVICE! This is because it doesn't come with the correct SATA power cable for the hard drive. You might think it would be easy to order one or buy one at your local computer store.
